Between now and August 16th, most of the players below will reach agreements with their teams. Some, like Drew Storen in 2009, will sign almost immediately and begin their pro careers. Others, like Stephen Strasburg in 2009, will sign seconds before the deadline. Here's where we'll keep track of the bonuses that first rounders, supplemental rounders and other noteworthy picks obtain. From now on, you'll be able to find this post on the right side of the site, under MLBTR Features.

Sox have already signed Vitek to a slot deal, and Brentz to a rumored slot deal.

Biddle will sign a slot deal after he graduates on Friday. He said so today in a radio interview.
rrwillerton
Apparently Syndergaard has signed.

May want want to add Austin Wilson as noteworthy. We all now his story, and he is still quite unlikely to sign, but it’s at least a possibility now after he supposedly had a nice trip visiting St. Louis.

Biddle’s bonus is $1.16M, for whenever this is updated.

What a difference in TO with GM JP out and Double A in. Best thing done in the Richardi years was getting the hot water to the washrooms fixed.
AA’s gonna sign everybody they draft. He’s doubled the scouting staff, already spent 10’s of millions on Latino Free agents, and he’s gonna start another low A team ,primarily for the Latin prospects. Most organizations have 6 farm teams. Jays were the team of the 90’s, looks like they are on track to get back. The American League East has morphed into a 4 headed monster.

Well, not yet. Most prospects don’t work out – don’t count your iguanas until they hatch. ;O) I actually worked with the Jay’s AA team in 2004, and I thought that they were about to break big in a couple years then. Aaron Hill, who was in AA back in 2004 turned out to make it, but I remember thinking that Miguel Jova (sp?) was going to be a major star, but he petered out, along with some other players. Even if every prospect turned out to be good and make the majors (which never happens), they still would not be up for a few years.
Just my $0.02 ($0.01343543 after taxes).
johnsmith4
Yep…..that is why you have to load up with prospects….most don’t develop….some are late bloomers…glad AA is loading up at the key positions….plus…he gives me the impression he is stocking up on prospects as opposed to hoarding prospects

Tyrell Jenkins appears to be signing soon. According to Cards VP Jeff Luhnow, all that is holding him back right now is a pending physical.
J Dahlstrom
Nice to see the Cards making the jump for a high upside type guy early in the draft. I’d seen late last week where the Baylor football coach said he would not be reporting for drills.
with Blair and Kenkins (almost) done, we can just keep fingers crossed that St Louis follows this up with announcements on the signings of Cox and Wilson.
EarlyMorningBoxscore
what is the deadline teams have to sign draft picks?
Greg Zakwin
Tomorrow, I think, judging by the first line of this post.

I just heard that Bryce Harper is close to signing. All that is holding the deal back is his agent and a ton of cash
HerbertAnchovy
Of course- He’s a Boras client. That’s how Boras rolls!
Bobby
Kyle Parker is an idiot, he turned down over 2 million to play Football at Clemson.
Jim McGrath
Are the Red Sox, Boras and Anthony Ranaudo waiting until the last minute to announce a signing or has it been kept quiet, already done, with a big to do later? anybody heard anything? I’m thinking his deal is goiing to be $3M or better even though his round is under a mil.
junior ballbag
Even with him being a Boras client, you’d have to be pretty dense to think they would offer Ranaudo $3M or more. Try harder next time.
moonraker45
You shouldnt try to belittle peoples opinions and posts like that especially when you’re the one who’s closer to being wrong then he is. Ranaudo will definetely command a 2-2.5 million bonus. . so maybe you try harder next time
moonraker45
Hey big man, why don’t you check out the signing bonus Ranaudo just signed… way to go champ
junior ballbag
Looks like 2.55 mil. Quite far away from 3 mil or more. Or do you also have mathematics issues?
It_Is_What_It_Is_Ormaybenot
$3M is a lot, but if you look at it in context of Int’l free agents would they pay it then? If so and I think they would, then they should do it now. I hate Bor-ass but in fairness if this kid hadn’t been hurt he’d have been a top 10 draft pick.
obsessivegiantscompulsive
FYI: Gary Brown signed for $1.45M, not the original $1.3M reported.

The padres and the brewers first round pick did not sign as well as the d-backs, although it wasn’t really the brewers or d-backs fault because loux had a torn ligament in his elbow and covey was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.
