Today is the deadline for players and teams to exchange figures in arbitration — an annual deadline that leads to a slew of one-year deals and, typically, a handful of multi-year deals. Today should see upwards of 100 players agree to salaries for the 2025 season, although the majority of clubs and players now wait until the very last minute to agree. The deadline for agreements is noon CT, and we’ll see terms on plenty of last-minute/buzzer-beating deals filter in shortly thereafter. Players and teams that do not reach an agreement will exchange salary figures at 7pm CT tonight.
Each player’s service time is in parentheses, and you can of course check back to see each player’s projected salary from MLBTR contributor Matt Swartz. We’ll keep this updated as deals come in — refresh for updates — and break off some of the larger, more prominent agreements in separate entries. All agreements are for one year unless otherwise noted.

It seems like there are less deals avoiding arbitration this year.
178iq
Seems like it.or lots of players are just realistic. Or the talent pool isn’t as great as previous years.
178iq
I saw NYY gave Grisham 5 million for his speed and glove. Not much of a bat there but I guess they’ll use him & Belly in a mix for LF & CF. Keep Stanton as DH. Judge in right. Still a gaping hole at 2B. And so far not one single bat in their infield. Unless Goldy can squeeze some last bit of talent out of his bat the Yankees are looking like their entire infield will be hitting their weight again. And I hope no one says Jazz lol he’s a GREAT glove and speedy. But he has no bat. Just like the rent of the NYY infielders. They needed a Bregman at 3B and Araez at 2B to compete. They were there for the trading and signing. NYY quiet on the really talents players. They are all in on project & declining players again. Woof….
jerseyjohn
178: Wells is part of that infield and poised to be a top 3 hitting catcher. As for Jazz you don’t just get to declare he’s useless. He has legit pop and speed. Make or break year for Volpe and Goldy likely to best the flotsam and jetsum of last year. The “mystery” infielder is just that until acquired. I’d try breathing…

Check Fangraphs, and see how off you are on your comments!
Poolhalljunkies
We havnt seen the numbers for Skubal, Cease and Vlad jr. Yet…some serious talent in those 3 that will get paid well
kellin
Obviously posted before the news came out, but yeah Skubal got a huge raise and Cease didnt.
The Saber-toothed Superfife
Well, as it turns out, Chris Illich and the Tigers’ FO are the biggest Robin Wayne Zander fans in the world…….
So Mr. ILLICH….
Who is more important? Robin Zander? or Babe Ruth?
WestVillageTiger
Cheap Trick? Makes sense. Like a lot of Tigers fans, they can’t let go of the eighties…
Steve Kinsella
Based on reports, Cole Sulser signed with Rays in November (1yr deal to avoid arbitration).
Teamspirit
Except for Ward and Quijada, those numbers seem high to me for the Angels.
kellin
Quijada? Where did you see his salary? Its not listed here yet.
None of the amounts the Angels gave out are unreasonable. I expect Rengifo to get about 4.5 million.
benhen77
$3 mil for Miguel Andujar is a wild choice.
kellin
As just trying to stay above the mlb grievance line.
Baseball’s Topics on Baseball Today
Why did that take Jorge Alcala off the list for the Twins suddenly?
goatamous
Ernie Clement and the Jays have settled
TrillionaireTeamOperator
If NYY are giving Grisham $5M, which is actually a slight pay cut but also seems very steep for how he was used by them, I guess that means Jazz Chisholm can argue for or will be offered like $7.5M since his bat is more potent and his glove is more diverse and he also has some speed? Also Chisholm has another year of arbitration left after this, so maybe like 2 years/$17.5M to try and keep that total cost down by $2M-4M?
TrillionaireTeamOperator
Also Clarke Schimdt being a pitcher, I have to imagine he’ll get a slight premium on his raise- also like $7.5M or something from the Yankees? Then again he has 3 years left, so maybe like 3 years/$24.75M to buy him out and keep his overall cost down?
Ra
Cionel Perez had his $2.2MM option picked up by the Orioles over two months ago. Get current, MLBTR.
Bennie
The Rangers and Dane Dunning came to an agreement a month ago. $2.66 million.
This one belongs to the Reds
Hopefully Tyler Stephenson is getting an extension.
Joemo
Duran and the Sox couldn’t reach a deal?
I don’t forsee this ending well for Duran. If they go to arbitration, I think it will negatively affect him so hopefully they can reach a deal somehow.
