The coaches are morons if they think Adel and Soto are gold glove caliber outfielders.

Sweet – There’s only 8 eligible in the AL (min 900 innings) so who the heck do you think are better than Abreu, Adell and Soto? I have to agree with Steve on this one, they got the right three for right, and Abreu will run away with it.
BTW – I told all the people here that Rafaela wasn’t that great defensively, his not even getting nominated proves it even more.
ThatsIT?
Fans in Toronto still think vlad is a good at 1st base defensively. His footwork at 1st rivals this guy on my slo pitch team who never played organized baseball growing up and used to go around headbutting people in hockey.

George Springer defends the position better than Soto. Albeit I understand why Springer is not a finalist as this is a hitting award. Metrics favor Adell’s defense.

Abreu has 18 DRS, a UZR/150 of 10.1 and OAA of 7
Soto has -1, -6.3, and -2.
Unfortunately, since fielding doesn’t count to the GG awards, Abreu has no chance..

But Soto had 10 assists…
Captain Dunsel
Soto to the Phillies for Middleton’s stupid money, 655/13.

I’d pass on Josh Naylor for anything more than a mid-level prospect. His body type doesn’t seem to last. Reminds me of Prince Fielder. Rather short career.
