Are all of the offseason outlook articles going to be for subscribers only? I used to really enjoy reading the articles every year.
Hard core Tim making the popular team outlook series mostly available to those of us subscribing to the site. Don’t get me wrong. understand everyone needs cashflow and that series is probably about the most popular for fans of each respective team.
If they are popular, it’s not reflected in the traffic. The ad revenue on the average Offseason Outlook does not make up for the time spent writing one.
Toglia should be penciled in as the starting 1B next year. He finished this year strong.
I believe they don’t want to be seen as directly trashing their guys, but it would be refreshing to hear some honest assessments of their players and organization from the front office. Wishing everything will go right for you is not a good way to run a ballclub. Though I’m not generally for it, they really need a down-to-the-boards rebuild.
