The Padres fortified their bullpen with their weekend acquisition of righty Jason Adam from the Rays, but they’re not done yet. Dennis Lin and Chad Jennings of The Athletic report that San Diego is hoping to add “at least” one starter and is still open to bringing in additional relief help. They’ve had discussions with the Tigers about Jack Flaherty, per the report, and have indeed at least checked in on a potential Blake Snell reunion (as was reported last night).
Flaherty, 28, stands as one of the likeliest trade candidates on the market. He’s on a one-year, $14MM contract with a Tigers club that faces a 12-game deficit in the AL Central and a 5.5-game gap in the chase for the final AL Wild Card spot (with four teams to leapfrog in that hunt). The Tigers could hold onto Flaherty and make him a qualifying offer — he’s a lock to reject and at least net them a draft pick it after his brilliant 2024 rebound — but the demand for pitching should allow Detroit to extract a better package than that potential comp pick.
In 106 2/3 innings since signing with Detroit, Flaherty boasts a 2.95 ERA with an exceptional 32% strikeout rate and an outstanding 4.6% walk rate. Among the 80 pitchers with at least 100 innings pitched in 2024, Flaherty has the fifth-best strikeout rate, the seventh-best walk rate and the second best differential between those two marks (trailing only White Sox ace Garrett Crochet). He’s also keeping the ball on the ground at a solid 43% clip, and this year’s 93.5 mph average fastball is his best since 2021. Flaherty also has the sixth-best swinging-strike rate among those 80 pitchers, trailing only Crochet, Cole Ragans, Tarik Skubal, Dylan Cease and Chris Sale — an impressive collection of some of the game’s top arms.
The Friars’ once-outstanding farm system has been thinned over the years by president of baseball operations A.J. Preller’s insatiable appetite for marquee trades. San Diego recouped some of the value they lost when trading five top prospects for Juan Soto in the offseason when they traded their final year of control over Soto to the Yankees. However, the headline prospect in that trade never threw a regular season pitch in the Padres organization; right-hander Drew Thorpe was instead packaged with three other farmhands in a trade to acquire Dylan Cease during spring training. Preller has since further thinned the system with trades for Luis Arraez and the aforementioned Adam.
Catcher Ethan Salas and young shortstop Leodalis De Vries still rank among the sport’s elite prospects, but all indications to this point have been that both are close to untouchable. Lin recently wrote a separate piece on that subject, and veritably any report connecting the Padres to a high-end trade target has suggested that Salas and De Vries aren’t expected to be in play. That’s likely all the more true when it comes to a rental like Flaherty (or a high-priced star with an opt-out clause, like Snell).
The Padres have been without right-hander Yu Darvish for weeks as he tends to an undisclosed personal matter. He’s on the restricted list indefinitely. Right-hander Joe Musgrove has been out since May due to a bone spur in his elbow and is on the 60-day injured list. They currently have Dylan Cease, Michael King, Matt Waldron and Randy Vasquez in the rotation, but Vasquez has spent much of the season flirting with a 5.00 ERA while King has already set a new career-high for innings pitched. Adding Flaherty or another arm to the mix would both help to bridge the gap until Musgrove and/or Darvish are ready to return and also give the Padres another impact arm for a potential postseason rotation. A theoretical group fronted by Cease, Flaherty, Musgrove and Darvish would be formidable, assuming all four are healthy and active.
Simm
King will be a starter in the playoffs even if those others return. The dudes has been straight balling. Innings limit or not which he has stayed himself he doesn’t want one
For Love of the Game
Without involving Salas or De Vries in a trade, do the Padres have the prospect capital to offer in a competitive market?
I Believe We Can Win
For lower end guys? Fedde or flaherty yes.
hitztheball
I’m guessing you consider Flaherty lower end because he is a rental? Still would need to give up something better than what can be drafted at the end of Round 1
Simm
They still have another prospect in Robbie snelling who is there second best prospect on pipeline. Though Vries will likely pass him there when it updates. Not sure they would trade him for a rental though.
I Believe We Can Win
Not how QO work anymore. They’re based on how much players sign for doubt flattery gets 50-60. 3 years 40-45
GreeneRiley
He is projected for a 75-100 million 3/4 year deal by the experts right now when he is a free agent .
GreeneRiley
They might not want to trade him for a rental? That is ok because if I’m the Tigers I wouldn’t trade Flaherty for Snelling in this sellers market. Snelling’s prospect status is dropping currently imo.
ThonolansGhost
The Tigers might just keep Flaherty for the rest of the season. They can’t really afford to lose a starting pitcher right now and they’ll get a compensation pick for him. Flaherty would certainly turn down a qualifying offer and will get a multi-year deal for way more than 50M.
I Believe We Can Win
Same experts that guessed snells earning?
JoeBrady
I’m guessing you consider Flaherty lower end
====================
I presume that he meant lower-end prospects. Everyone has a collection of those.
pohle
it didnt take an expert to see that snell, bellinger, even chapman were going to ask for a lot more than what teams valuations of them would be. in a situation where teams are getting more reluctant to hand out ever-growing contracts for stars, it was a hard market to predict for experts who have never seen something like that happen. i definitely expected a discrepancy between predictions of their contracts and the real thing.
I Believe We Can Win
Mlbtr projected 200 mill.
I Believe We Can Win
I consider him a good # 2 great # 3 when he’s on. But 4 of the last 5 seasons he’s pitched like a #4 – #5.
Is that someone teams want to pony up premium prospects for esp when last season he cratered after being traded to a contender?
Is that some teams want to invest significant money into?
Motor City Beach Bum
They just traded Lesko and two others for Adam so why not?
I Believe We Can Win
Leskos value has cratered as well. Kid just can’t put it together. Struggling heavily in A ball. He’s on his way out of top 100 prospects
Adams also comes with a better track record and more years of team control.
Bush is 22 hitting .702 ops in high a
So I mean if you want guys losing value for Flaherty
Rally Goose
@ThonolansGhost “They can’t really afford to lose a starting pitcher right now…”
Oh and why not? What exactly is it that you think will happen to the Detroit Tigers if they trade Jack Flaherty?
Motor City Beach Bum
I would have loved to see the Tigers grab Lesko and let Fetter and the pitching staff have a go at fixing him.
ThonolansGhost
The Tigers have one other good, healthy starting pitcher (Skubal). Their rotation will be a mess if they trade Flaherty. Maybe they’ll do it anyway, I hope they at least get a couple of good prospects in return.
Rally Goose
It will also be a mess if they keep Flaherty and he leaves as a FA in the offseason. So what’s your point?
Rally Goose
Oh. And don’t try it with “They can extend/re-sign him.” They can also do that if they do trade him so that argument doesn’t work in your favor.
I Believe We Can Win
For comparison the royals just added lorenzen so that should give you a realistic look at what it’ll cost to get Flaherty Fedde etc.
edges64
Flaherty is miles above the pitcher Lorenzen is this year
I Believe We Can Win
Lorenzen has the better track record last 2 years.

Which means nothing. Only this year really matters.
I Believe We Can Win
“Consistency doesn’t matter” ok lol
JoeBrady
“Consistency doesn’t matter” ok lol
===========================
My formula is that you look back for the same period as you look forward. If I’m looking at Flaherty for 2+ months, I am only concerned with how he looks for the past 2+ months.
I Believe We Can Win
I’m looking at their first half’s both years cause both cratered after being dealt to contenders last year. Lorenzen has been more consistent. We will see how each fairs if they’re dealt (which lorenzen already is)
JoeBrady
Flaherty will obviously be more expensive, so it isn’t an even comparison, but I’d be shocked if Lorenzen did half as well as Flaherty going forward.
Ronk325
Flaherty is in line to get 5 years and $100MM+. You’re clueless
I Believe We Can Win
Yeah and Blake snell coming off 2 years worth of dominating and a cy young had 200 mill waiting for him.
3-4 years 75-100 mill for a dude who’s had 1 good year out of the last 5? Huffing paint must be making a come back.
Ronk325
Look at the deals Gausman and Ray got 3 years ago despite also having short track records of success and being older than Flaherty. Snell settled for a short term high AAV deal with opt outs because it was getting close to opening day. For what it’s worth, Snell also had a 6 year $150MM offer from the Yankees that he turned down because he overestimated his market. Flaherty is going to get paid
I Believe We Can Win
Gausmam posted two good/great back to back seasons in SF before his deal with TOR
Ray was coming off a cy young award.
Ronk325
If you want to get technical, one of those seasons for Gausman was the shortened 2020 season. He also hit free agency at 31.
Yes, Ray won the Cy Young in 2021 but was also extremely inconsistent before. His own team opted to go with Gausman instead for the same money. He was 30 going into free agency.
Flaherty’s issues were mechanical and they seem to be fixed. He’s hitting free agency at 29. Age is in his favor to get a 5 year deal with an AAV of at least $20MM
Senor Smoke
With his back? LOL! I said in another thread if the Tigers offered him 3 years at $15M per, Boras would be on it like a pitbull on a poodle.
Simm
Not that I care what flaherty gets but that deal Ray signed was a bad one.
A lot of what Flahertyis going to get will depend on
How he finishes the year. If he pitches great including in the playoffs he will get paid well. If he is injured he might not even get a QO.
He has been hurt a lot so that is very possible.
Vlad Jr’s McGangbang
Comparing Flaherty to Lorenzen? Wow
Motor City Beach Bum
Flaherty is one of the top pitchers in the league and that is what a team is trading for. What does last year have to do with it?
straightuphonestguy
Eguy Rosario is underrated due to a bad body, age, and defensive positions, but looks like he can be a solid regular. I think he’ll be a year-in, year-out 2 win 3B with some bat upside (potentially more if he can play a passable 2B). Pauley is in a similar situation from the left side: his stock is worse, but he’s also younger. Kollar is a 25 year old righty starter, but just dominated AA and is taking well to AAA in the early going.
For Love of the Game
Thanks for actually answering the question! Looking at those guys, Rosario looks like an interesting secondary piece Pauley and Kollar do not.
straightuphonestguy
Yeah, I think Padres are in a bit of a hard spot.. not a lot of arms to deal at the moment. Could try Mazur/Snelling + Rosario
damascusj
Yes, but maybe only to get one marquee arm, which is fine
stylesofpunk
I wouldnt mind getting Alex Jacob in the deal if we trade Flaherty to the Padres

I thought Preller just got an extension

padres run things in a different way than conventional thought, like the rockies and rays, each in their own different way. preller is the guy there, im sure he has as much say as the new ownership group. new extension from seidler before he passed away means he will have leash in san diego until he proves to new people he cant win.

I don’t agree with these statements.
2022 NLCS
2023 Outlier season with Sleepy Bob Melvin
2024 Currently in the playoffs (although a lot of baseball to play)
The guy can flat out scout his tail off and evaluate talent. He’s made some interesting trades to say the least. If the Padres erroneously fired him he’d have an executive level position somewhere the next day in many organizations.
Rally Goose
@Zombie Bukowski Nah he’d get hired as the head of some team’s scouting department. No one is giving him any say in trades/signings
Zombie Bukowski
He’d easily be looked at for Assistant GM jobs and I’m sure there would be organizations that would look at him again for GM roles.
I think Padres fans are forgetting 40+ years of cellar dwelling and front office ineptitude.
Signings – again, Mike Dee’s meddling and Peter’s will to win a championship gets overlooked in the contracts they’ve handed out.
Brew’88
And 40+ years of bottom tier payroll
SanDiegoTom
I wasn’t advocating that preller SHOULD be fired, but I wasn’t clear. I think that Peter had a lot to do with those contracts. I’ve doubted him at times, but Preller has done a good job at fielding a competing team and is an excellent talent evaluator.
Zombie Bukowski
@SDTom gotcha and agree. I’m probably a Preller apologist when it comes down to it. I just think the guys skills, will to win, and creativity have been a god send to San Diego. He’s made some outrageous trades. I don’t fault him a lot on the contracts either.
JoeBrady
The guy can flat out scout his tail off and evaluate talent.
=======================
He’s a remarkable scout. But he has a .539 winning percentage over the past 4 years, with payroll rankings of #2, #6, #3 & #11.
That’s not a lot of production for that type of investment.
Rally Goose
Maybe assistant GM but he’d absolutely have someone above him. He would not be the final decision maker.
I Believe We Can Win
We don’t know how much spending was preller vs Seider. We will see what avenue the padres take and how Preller approaches the farm and free agency once the CBT resets and see what his spending limitations are.
Rally Goose
So then you are saying Seidler was the problem? Cuz most Padres fans don’t like to speak ill of the man.
I Believe We Can Win
Problem? No. The dude wanted to win a ship for SD and was willing to pay whatever the cost. Most fans would be appreciative of an owner like that.
But to say every big name free agent signing was all Aj preller isn’t being entirely truthful. We don’t know how much Seider pushed for certain players or how involved he was. And we may never know. If you see a drastic shift in approach well reasoning would seem to indicate Seider had his hands in the kitchen.
What we do know is he’s no longer around, god rest his soul, and we will see how aggressive Preller is in free agency and trades.
Rally Goose
The big signings were bad. There is no question. If you think Seidler pushed for them then that’s fine but that means he was the problem.
Anyone can *want* to win. The key is putting in work and *doing* .
I Believe We Can Win
Hard to fault a dying man wanting to win a championship before his death. His health definitely plays a part in this situation. He wasn’t an art moreno type owner constantly throwing around money at big names for decades.
Rally Goose
I will fault him. He left the team in shambles. That’s no way to run an organization. He is Arte Moreno lite.
Either Seidler was the problem or Preller. Take your pick.

Darvish isn’t returning
GarryHarris
Why?
Zombie Bukowski
Is that the rumor?
Brew’88
His status is extremely non-public, but I hear he’s working out. The acquisitions made by AJP today/tomorrow might lend some hints as to Darvish’s potential for returning this season, or next.
OldSaltUSN
As to the personal problem Darvish is working on, my guess based upon what we know of his character (which isn’t much; he’s a very private guy), is that someone very close to him, i.e. immediate family, is gravely ill. Praying for the guy. Been there, done that, it’s a heck of a stressful thing. He may be working out, but returning to competitive professional baseball is probably the last thing on his mind at the moment.
God bless him!
MR. Q
Really hope anyone AJ trade for won’t fall off during August-September sprint. The decline of Adam Frazier after being traded to SD is still fresh in my memory.
Zombie Bukowski
Heck – I still remember Ryan Ludwick.
Brew’88
Frazier just reverted to his career numbers in SD. That trade didn’t address the pitching need at the time, huge blunder of a trade IMO
OldSaltUSN
Man, you guys are just KILLIIN’ the 2024 Padres buzz, with all your negativity.
Lol, I’ve been “concerned” since the end of last season. Folks saying that Preller’s job is at risk, that 2024 results will be the final word on his continued employment? That have a very, short memory. He saved ownership tens of $millions, while rebuilding a playoff caliber roster with very little money, after losing LF, CF, part of 3B, three high level producing starters, an all-star closer, and most of the bullpen. Whatever his mistakes have been in the past (and he’s made some doozies), his 2024 GM performance has been nothing short of “Gold Star”.
But yeah, there are still a dozen (maybe 100) that the Padres season can go wrong. Even if they pull in a mid-level starter, even if Musgrove can come back before September, imagine the impact of losing Cease, King, or Waldron for a month, even a couple of starts? The Pads offense may still bang out a couple of high scoring wins, but more than likely, it’d be instant-end-of-season, no chance of catching up to get in to that 3rd wild card spot. What if they lose Suarez?
So, yeah, I’m big time concerned. This is a good team. The Padres have had other good (even better) teams lose their season over the past half dozen years. The Pads need luck on their side to finish in the playoffs (maybe even some divine assistance)., whatever Preller does or does not do in the next 24 hours.
Brew88
Me? I’ve been nothing but positive about the moves Pads have made in 2024. I’m not overly thrilled by the overpay in prospects for a RP (Adam) but at least they filled perhaps their most critical need at RP. Fraizer trade filled no need at all and history played out showing the real need was pitching.
Kt411gcn
From what I’ve gathered, King has said multiple times he believes he’ll be fine without innings limits. Also, Seth Lugo last year doubled his innings last year in his conversion to starter, and looks what he’s doing now.
Not sure if this is a league-wide trend, but Padres apparently are relying on analytics to measure arm fatigue over the course of the season. There was a whole article dedicated to this on SDUT early in the season. Apparently they are measuring arm angle, spin, mechanics in general over the season and listening to the pitcher as to how they are recovering between starts.

With a name like Flaherty, how can Boston not make an offer? Would they be willing to include guys like Teel and/or Anthony?
The Saber-toothed Superfife
To me, Harris does not appear to be very proactive.
He should be doing the opposite of what it says in the papers. Instead of sitting around, waiting the hear an overwhelming offer- he should be on the phone making the overwhelming offers.
He does not utilize all available tools, press leaks and rumors…. YES. Boston has the opportunity to land BOTH Skubal and Flaherty….but as it turns out, despite what the owner says, they are not all in this
year…… that would have probably gotten a reaction. How about a rumor both the Yanks and Red Sox are discussing both? – create a trade war… all it takes for it to be true is Harris getting on the phone and just mention those names in passing…and it’s true.
Personally, I see nothing wrong with trading good players for good players and watching them succeed.
Fans are brainslwashed with the term “rebuild”. Trading players does not mean rebuild. Rebuild was when Illich refused to pay MLB caliber players and trotted out a team of Rule 5ers and guys who should have still been in the minor leagues. That’s not even a rebuild that’s just Illich being “economical” and seeking top draft pick by losing. THE GUY WENT ALONG WITH TANKING INSTEAD OF HIRING MLB CALIBER PLAYERS. I don’t think we ever even had an actual rebuild….just Illich being cheap and going for high draft picks.
Harris has a pretty good team.
Has anyone noticed how many run score against the Tigers due to AJ Hinchs’ positioning of infeilders? Guys just slap it through gaping holes a 2nd or SS….. lost many a game that way. Harris needs to observe and curb what AJ is doing.
But alas, it’s so unacceptable to be critical of Hinch, Harris or Illich.
It’s like sitting at.the boardroon at Ford Motor. Co….. you have an idea for a 4 cylinder vehicle….everyone is pissed you inulted the genius who perfected the 2 cylinder.
Seems like if Tiger fans had their way….we’d still be driving 2 cylinder vehicles.

it would take both Salas and de Vries and more. Skubal is the Soto of the pitching realm.

Graham Pauley, the Padre’s number 6 prospect seems like a good fit for the Tigers as they need a reliable bat at 3B and Pauley is blocked by Machado. Not bad place to start a conversation.
OldSaltUSN
(Padre fan here): Yeah, Pauley is better than the reviews of his limited MLB time. He didn’t have a clear role even when he was substituting for Manny full time. Inconsistent spot starts, etc.. I don’t know what’s going on with his current performance in AAA, but his track record overall is better than that of a future utility player. Maybe he won’t be a $300M superstar stud, but he could be a very useful, serviceable corner infielder. I don’t know what kind of package Flaherty SHOULD bring (i.e. since the TDL market is so much in flux), but if it includes Pauley, the Tigers are bringing good talent into their organization. (Prospects are such a crap shoot anyway!)
Good luck, Tiger fans.
Motown is My Town
I’d prefer the Tigers keep him and make the QO… when Flaherty rejects it and signs his big money contract (> $50M) then the Tigers are in line for a CB pick around the mid 30’s. That pick will likely be better than any prospect they end up obtaining and lets them keep Flaherty for the remainder of the season. Doubt this will happen because; A. Chris I is too cheap, and B. Harris/Greenberg are not strategic enough in their thinking. We’re sunk Tiger fans, until at least 2027 when Clark, McGongile, Jobe & Rainer will be allowed to join the team…UGH!!!!!
tigerdoc616
If the Padres top three prospects are untouchable, then they probably won’t get Flaherty. That comp pick will be after the first round next year and such players are usually fringe top 100 prospects. Tigers are going to hold out for something better than that so a back end top 100 prospect or two fringe top 100 prospects. Tigers are going to want position prospects but their best position player not in the top 100 is Pauley. He pretty much fits into a Tigers system that already has enough players with his profile. So doubt Pauley and a pitcher would get this deal done.
Longtimecoming
Eguy Rosario is mlb ready / matured out of prospect status but is farther along than Pauley. Another commenter has some info on him. He needs a place to give him 100 games to see what he can do.
straightuphonestguy
Padres best position prospect ATM is probably Rosario. I know Jung is lurking in AAA, so probably doesn’t make a ton of sense from thr Tigers perspective.
WestVillageTiger
Rosario sounds interesting. Jung might wind up at 2B, his natural position with Keith moving to first. Detroit’s infield is pretty unsettled right now.
Longtimecoming
He got some reps this year at 3b while Manny was DH. He had a set back due to ankle surgery in 2023 but he just has that look of a guy that 100 games might be what he needs – or define him as a utility player. He has played 3b / SS / 2b. I think he is taking some reps in AAA in OF due to the entrenched players in SD’s IF.
Zombie Bukowski
100% not trading the top 3 for 2 months of Flaherty. Hard pass.
OldSaltUSN
I don’t blame you. However, that’s why neither you nor I are GM’s. This year’s all-star game featured 14 previous Padres, in most cases, guys who came up from the Padres farm system. Back a half dozen years ago, when the TDL came up, fans on other teams were screaming “If Tatis isn’t in the trade, then NO trade.” Every fan on every team wants any serviceable major leaguer (Let along a TOR pitcher) to pull back the very best prospects on the market. However, that’s not how the trade business works. It’s certainly about market value, i.e. MLB’er vs prospects, vs, the time of year/situation, but it’s also about fit. If fitment is a win-win, the deal has a good chance of getting done, even if it doesn’t include potential superstar talent. If GM’s all say “we want your studs, or we won’t deal with you”, they’ll never get any trades done. NO GM will trade a potential Tatis, or a Salas, or a De Vries, or at least, those kinds of moves are very rare. The trade for Washington’s Soto was a pretty good example of such a trade, where the Padres sent most of their top farm talent, including “untouchables”, and arguably, based on results, the Padres probably overpaid for Soto (though Preller salvaged some value when he later traded Soto to the Yankees).
So, yeah, I appreciate your sentiment, but the Tigers probably WILL move Flaherty, if the Padres offer a trade with better fitting pieces than other teams. Regardless what the baseball analysts write about, those pieces don’t necessarily need to be the top two or three Padres prospects, but they will definitely include one from their top 10.
Zombie Bukowski
I thought I was a GM!!! Damn it!
OldSaltUSN
Well, we all have our dreams … lol
James Midway
I can see them getting a 3-4 type. They have to check in with the 1-2 types for due diligence but it would surprise me if they made a splash this year. Starting depth would be great. We don’t know if/when Darvish will be back. Musgrove looks like he may be back soonish but he was not doing great this year already. They brought up Mazur too soon and he got knocked around. Cease, King, and Waldron have been arguably one of the better 1-2-3 punches in the league. Vasquez is hit or miss but he is a serviceable 4.
I hope AJ gets some starting depth and maybe another reliever.
Sal66
The latest reports indicate Musgrove will return in one to two weeks, and Brito is back on the mound in the minors. The Padre rotation, while needing help, may not be as dire as we think.
Also, is Darvish really going to string us along week to week for the entire year? Heck, even the death of a family member shouldn’t require four months off.
Preller said he talks to Darvish every few days, which suggests he’s not gone for the year. If those three return, the Padres might not need to add much.
Simm
Reports are darvis’s brother is dying of cancer. So he may still be alive and Darvish is wanting to be there for him. That is completely understandable.
The Saber-toothed Superfife
The honor, privilege and advantage of being rich. He is definitely a good guy and is using his money wisely and faithfully. God Bless the man.

Longtimecoming
Salamy – for sure you get to disagree as to how you would want to do things in your life but equally sure that at the same time you can’t think your way is to apply to everyone else. It’s a personal choice and he deserves the right to make his just like you have the right to make yours.
The Saber-toothed Superfife
I am pretty sure IF Flaherty gets traded and the Tigers do the usual…. I am likey to be rooting for Flaherty and whatever team he lands on…..IF they trade him.
Senor Smoke
All these bloggers without a source to be found, sitting there wearing headphones, telling us Flaherty is being bandied around like half-priced wool socks. If Harris had a brain under his Pee Wee Herman haircut, he’d tell Flaherty he’s going nowhere and to pitch the Tigers into the playoffs THIS year. A QA would always get him a high draft choice if he can’t resign him. Chris Ilitch will eventually have to pay playoff contention players the going rate or sell the franchise and figure out what to do with a billion dollars.
WestVillageTiger
Well, Flaherty, as of 1:50 Eastern time, has been scratched from the start tonight according to Detroit’s 97.1 radio.
Motor City Beach Bum
He’s going somewhere at the deadline. Just a matter of who is going to pony up what Harris/Greenberg want. A few sites have suggested they will take the best prospect(s) vs trying to fill a need. A new SS would be nice.

(As for “that’ll never happen” Bauer signing by SD, no one who has followed Preller would believe that. Preller’s capable of doing anything, at any time, including some not-so-good things, and even some creative and daring things that mere mortal GM’s would never even think of. )
Brew88
@PadresWS. Signing Bauer probably would create less drama than pairing up Adam with Flaherty
