Why you ask these people? Speculation is only truth & facts you’ll get.

In regards to Eflin (trade deadline or offseason) & Littel the prices required will be much higher than for so so Civale.

What kinds of people ask questions like these?
“What are the Astros going to do at the deadline? ”
No one, including the Astros, know yet. It depends on what happens between now and then
“The Rangers are terrible but are World Series champions for the first time. Can they sell even if it’s the best thing for the team?”
Yes, of course.
“Tigers president of baseball operations Scott Harris says the club could buy or sell. What do the final months of the season look like in Detroit?”
No one knows yet. But, they are unlikely to make the playoffs (2% by FanGraphs’ odds), So, probably not having Flaherty pitching every 5thish game and trying out some youngsters.

Such a weird season this year – is it just me or are some you feeling the same?

I don’t know
How many times have you said that in the last decade?

Lack of hitting in general across the league is down or just not exciting. These 2 hour games to me are like watching a Little League game with time limits. Injuries galore to stars. Just finding baseball games less full-filling as it use to be. It’s turning into a boring game now. Strategy has been minimized especially with only can try pickoffs twice. I thought taking the shifts out would increase scoring, but I’ve haven’t done comparisons but sure seems like it. Just ain’t what it used to be to be. And HORRIBLE HORRIBLE umpiring across the leagues. How many pitches we’ve seen where strikes are called with balls 6-8 inches off plate either side, Too many pitches in zone called balls & it seems like on crucial pitches. I think umpires seems to be protesting bc they really have no control on the safe/out calls on field. Can’t count teams the have no-name outfield or infield positions.
