Brent Rooker is not the All-Star Alternate at DH ? Madness. The man has no Protection in that lineup and yet still puts up Stats.

Thanks for taking my question. That Colt Keith contract is starting to look like a good deal after he got through his first month. Since May 1, he’s been pretty good and has been white hot over the last week. If he keeps it up, he could be the AL ROY.

Stott doesn’t hit the ball hard? This is what MLB has come to?
LOL
The Phillies love him – from the FO to the manager/coaching staff to the players. Clutch hits. Gives himself up to advance runners. Great instincts and high Baseball IQ – seldom does a dumb thing on the field. Think a 180 from O’Neil Cruz when we talk executing baseball fundamentals..
By this criteria Cleveland needs to get rid of Steven Kwan before the playoffs start.

Grady Sizemore was his generations Pete Reiser.

With the Cubs’ recent performance, it’s like trying to sell hot dogs in a vegan neighborhood!

If I were the Cubs I would listen to offers on Happ and Suzuki with a willingness to move one, Imanaga (MLB is kicking the tires on lowering the top of the zone so I would strongly consider selling now vs risking him being less effective on top of the inherent injury risk) Tailon, Hoerner.
I would trade Wisdom, Bote, Hendricks, Smyly, Tauchman if anyone was willing to deal anything for them.

Mayo AND Basallo for Castillo.
Whew.

Whoever Dan is, needs to watch the Phillies more. Sure Stott isn’t Chase Utley, but he doesn’t need to be. He plays smart baseball, does the right thing, and is one of the key catalysts to the whole aura of the team. Moving or replacing him would be a -ev move.
