Not sure why MLBTR has one guy cover the site, and run a chat at the same time.
Right. I mean it’s an hour or two once in awhile. Can’t have Darragh cover a chat or Tim write up 2 sentences if a surprise transaction happens?

Jean – What do you mean? They have 7 writers here and at least 3 of them host chats. This is the most well-run site I’ve ever seen.
It’s not about the number of guys hosting chats. My question is, when one of them is hosting a chat, why can’t one of the other 6 cover the site?
Mark’s chats are the longest, usually about 2 hours. Having someone else covering, to write up a new transaction like the Loperfido call up, during those 2 hours, doesn’t seem to be an extreme ask that would disrupt the way the site works.
The writers will occasionally mention that there are several hundred people in the chat. Leaving them sit and wait for the next question, when the writer is busy doing something else isn’t efficient.
Glad to see Mark’s comment about how the Angels issues are Moreno’s fault, not Minasian’s. Half a dozen GMs with the same results and Moreno is the only common denominator.

The exonerated Trevor Bauer beasted it up over in Mexico today. So much for him being “washed” lol.
Mikey Two Shoes also did really well today over in Timbuktu.
Despite the notable hindrance of being fictional, he has the same chance of getting signed to a major league deal as you do Trev.

This is why Blog writers don’t run MLB teams. Trade Trout? The value of the franchise already dropped when Moreno let Ohtani leave. Without Trout, the team is worthless in terms of market value. Besides, every time a superstar is traded, the team that gets him always gets the better of the deal. This blog writer is a moron.
He suggested it as a courtesy to Trout. If they have no intention to compete during the remainder of whatever good years he has left, he may want to leave for greener pastures.
They could probably get something of moderate value for him, and the team is worth very little with him given current construction. Losing him won’t hurt that much.

Why is everyone hating on Yoshida? He’s every bit as good as Benintendi and gets about the same amount in pay.
