@Moonbeam- if Biebs feels anything like I do, he’d trade half his experience for that 3 MPH back.
Ignorant Son-of-a-b
Two good exhibition games there Gwynny, could have gone either way! Padres/Mariners World Series sooner rather than later.

fraggit, I need to get in on one of these chats. I need to ask an about some idiotic comment Jim Crane made regarding the Ohtani “scandal.” I guess I’ll ask it here, anyway. He literally said its the third worst scandal in baseball history after the black socks and some “unreleased yankees letter.” Uhm, really? Pete Rose is worse, nevermind his own Astros trashcan beating. The one thing you can say about the Ohtani scandal is baseball wasn’t involved.
Gwynning
Crane is a nincompoop and doesn’t deserve a retort.
That’s like the one BIG thing about Ohtani that we can’t say yet, so who ya foolin’? I want to believe he didn’t bet on baseball, but let the investigation take place before we start jumping to any conclusions.

From what I read, his interpreter said it was all him and that its drilled into the players in the clubhouse that you can’t bet on baseball, so he never did, just international soccer. He kept losing and burying himself in debt. Said he’s terrible at gambling and won’t do it again, but it cost him an expensive job.
Gwynning
So we just take the lying, jobless interpreter’s word? Let the story unfold through the proper avenues. It’s definitely a hot topic, but we all know *nothing* yet.

It’s 2024, where your guilty until proven innocent. Wonder where this concept was derived from???????

Another classic chat where it’s almost indiscernible to tell which is lamer, the questions or the answers. Ahahaha!

Mr Adams, I’m confused, STILL, with your takes on Hicks. The Giants didn’t sign him to be a starter. Hicks signed with SF to be a starter . It’s simply
his desire to start. That’s why he went to the Giants. So he signs to start, has an excellent spring starting, and you’re shocked he’s still starting now that they have Snell. And Bad Blood? His question was bizarre BUT you answered it. He said they signed back end starters to only do long relief and asks if they didn’t sign because they didn’t want to play for SF. So did they sign or not sign. Btw, Bad Blood, they had no intention to sign back of rotation starters. Zaidi made that very clear. If you’re talking about Jefferies and Howard, they were not signed to replace Winn, Black, etc. They were signed for depth and long relief. Starters don’t come out of the gate in April going 7 innings on 100 pitches. Especially young ones

Trade your Prince Greatest Hits?
I wonder if a team can tell a player,”We will sign you for x$, after the QO expires”?
Both having agreed on a plan of action to avoid the penalties?
