I have been waiting for this series to come out to see how the Jay’s off season is ranked as compared to other AL East teams. Should open the door to some interesting conversations!!! GO JAYS GO!!!!
jaysfan: You should go by your own opinion. You know who the Jays added and who they lost. Your opinion is as good as anyone else’s.
One of the great myths of our time. “Your opinion is as good as anyone else’s”. When it comes to being a baseball fan, it doesn’t matter. In the real world, the fallacy matters a lot.
One is certainly entitled to holding an opinion in the same vein as anyone else, however there will always be a vast difference in the quality and caliber of said opinions, and all opinions are hardly equal.
Avenger, if i only go on my own opinion then i miss out on the experience have talking to others and would only sit here and not have any conversations, other peoples opinions open the door for discussion, someone from Boston may have insight into Turner i may have missed, someone from NY may give me a bit of info about IKF that does not show up in his stat line. If we only go with our own opinions then these comment sections will disappear! see we are having a nice little discussion about opinions right now!!!
@avenger You’re telling me my opinion isn’t special? 🙁
Big jays fan here. We’re not winning the World Series. You’re welcome
@Skell 2
Not saying they will win it but if you look at Arizona making it all the way to the WS last year as a WC team, one never knows how the playoffs work out. I don’t think the Jays had a great offseason but you can’t really count them out either. Currently, they have the 8th best odds of winning the WS in 2024.
My favorite series by mlbtr, by the way. Thanks for the work that is put into detailing the offseason moves for every team in baseball. Yet again.
Great series! I’ve enjoyed the 3 that have come out so far, looking forward to the rest!
