On the MLB Trade Rumors podcast, we’ll frequently answer questions from our readers and listeners. With the next episode set for Wednesday, we’re looking for MLBTR’s audience to submit their questions and we’ll pick a few to answer.
Spring Training is ramping up but there’s still many notable free agents unsigned and possible trades not yet consummated. If you have a question about a recent transaction, a future transaction or anything else related to the offseason or upcoming season, we’d love to hear from you! You can send your questions to mlbtrpod@gmail.com.
Also, if you want to hear your voice on the podcast, send us your question in audio form and we might play it. iPhone users can find instructions on how to do so here.
In the meantime, don’t forget to subscribe to the podcast on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.

Why is filihok allowed to insult and belittle every other person who comments on MLBTR?
Is your mute button broken or something?
I already muted him / it but I still see other people complaining about how abusive he is.
There’s also a flag button.
Earlier this winter it seemed like the Rangers’ issue with Montgomery was more with the amount he was asking than anything else, and if his ask came down closer to their valuation they might re-engage.
But at this point it seems that they have tightened the purse strings to the point that the only way Montgomery ends up with them is if he pulls an Andre Dawson and presents them with a signed contract allowing the Rangers to fill in the amount.
Which is too bad because on a Bellinger like contract the Rangers could really use Montgomery and it has seemed that is where Montgomery wanted to go..
Doesn’t Aaron Nola’s deal look terrible now? Montgomery, Snell, Sonny Gray, E Rodriguez, etc will all sign for less total $$$.
How do people not realize there’s an email address to submit their questions?
Not sure if anyone knew or not, but Jose DeLeon, who spent 13 seasons in the major leagues as a pitcher and led the National League with 201 strikeouts in 1989, died Sunday at 63 after a battle with cancer.
