No, they will only field 8 defensive players, leading to their pitchers giving up a record number of bunt singles.
Is it fair that Yamamoto is emotionally hijacking the citizens of several large market cities across North America? Deeper question: is he doing his necessary due diligence while also being a jerk?
This will be the 8th season since they’ve won, and we haven’t been able to confidently buy a jersey in years… Is there realistically a splash move that the Cubs can still make and NOT lose this offseason, like let’s just go out on a far-fetched limb and say; trade for Mike Trout? Or are they down to: waiting out middling bargain players, be worse on paper, and hope that they’ll overachieve more often than not?
