Took zero Angels questions. Way to be consistent Steve. SMH.

They were probably all about Ohtani or Trout. Stop crying and claiming to be a victim. Subscribe, it could help.
nukeg
Had zero to do with either of them. But thanks for telling me to throw money at a site that doesn’t give a shiet about my team. Much obliged.

Maybe they grew tired of all the Adell questions and trade offers that used to frequent the chats. I know I did.
nukeg
Yet the Angels were dumb enough to not trade him when he actually had value.
gbs42
Obviously, Steve specifically hates the Angels. I bet there are other teams he didn’t discuss.
nukeg
Thank you GBS. I agree. Steve hates the Angels.

Adams really liked the Candelario signing, but several others say that it didn’t fit a need and the money should have been used differently.
I know that the off season is far from over, but it sure looks like a potential turkey deal to me.

It doesn’t make sense at all. Nor could Adams cite a reason why it makes sense. They signed a player for $15 Million dollars a year who isn’t better than what they already have on their roster. He will take at bats away from the young infielders, while the money they spent on him could have went to a real need (pitching). I was giving Nick Krall the benefit of the doubt, figuring he had a trade for a pitcher in his back pocket. It’s obviously now that was not the case. Next year when Candelario ends up being a .240 people will be screaming about this move and waiting for his contract to come off the books.

There are months to go until Opening Day. Lots of moves could still be made before the season starts.

The real headscratcher is that Pagan deal. What in the world is that front office smoking? Is Pagan related to somebody in that FO? Makes zero sense. It’s moves like that, and we see them with other organizations too, that really have me questioning the aptitude of some of these people in charge.

Pagan is chasing a record. He fell behind last season. With the move to Great American he will be right back on track to having the highest HR allowed rate again.
