Mr. Met looks so swishy in that pic…
Hemlock
Hey! That’s Mrs Met!
(Long eyelashes?)
(To-die-for curves?)

I bet Mr. Met gives her a slider of his own.

What does having beef have to do with whether or not Senga could help land Yamamoto?
Is Yamamoto a vegan?
Hemlock
Oh hey, I asked that question. I think he meant beef as in hamburgers. They’re supposed to have a BBQ this weekend and Yamamoto hates wasting meat because Senga is a sloppy grill man. That’s all.
Having Senga could be of minor help, assuming they don’t have beef.
stymeedone
Assuming they don’t have a dispute. #beef
Why do we like to think nationality of Asian players may help draw others from that country. Does having an Australian help in signing other Australians? What about Canadians?
Hemlock
Senga can speak to Yamamoto’s concerns (if any) about living in NY and playing for the Mets. Show him around. Help ease his transition to the US. Playing baseball isn’t easy but moving into a foreign country AND playing baseball at the same time could be very challenging.
Does he speak English? If no, that’s another obstacle.
Maybe they know each other? Who wouldn’t want to have a friend in a foreign country where you decided to work?
Those sort of things.

I think it has about -0- impact. It’s like, “okay Yoshi, we have an offer on the table from a team that finished 4th, and is 3,000 miles further away from Japan, but they have a Japanese dude on the team.. Yes, I know that not every one in Japan knows everyone else in Japan, and that you guys never played on the same team and all, but he is Japanese”
Would any American choose a soccer team in France simply because someone you don’t know is on the team?
The Saber-toothed Superfife
I wonder if he sent that clown question to himself. Lol. Best part of it all. Lol

From what I’ve read, they would prob view it as a huge miss if they don’t sign yamamoto.. and i would agree, but so many teams will be in on him
