Appreciate hearing Max called “Fried” (fry-d) rather than (free-d). Turns a Cali kid into southern boy.

My wife pronounces it fried as in chicken as well. Drives me insane and we are Southerners, but I definitely get a chuckle when announcers do it. One would think an announcer would look over pronunciations before calling a game.
RunDMC
If you can get d’Arnaud (dar-know) correct, you’d think Fried would be a cake walk.

Consider yourself lucky. Last year every time Jesse Winker came up to bat, my girlfriend tapped me on the shoulder and gave me a really exaggerated wink. Every single time, without fail. I hope I never see him play again

Would love to hear any trade scenarios involving Vaughn Grissom for starting pitching for ’24. Take in mind he had a .330 AVG/.920 OPS in 400 AAA ABs in ’23, though his defense position is still a question mark.
