Is it Politically incorrect to Mention the WBC COULD be the Player IL problems this year?
DarkSide830
You could, but you would be wrong.

It’s a crap-shoot, depends on a ton of obvious things.
Today I asked one Q and it got answered, usually I ask 2 or 3 when I luck into a chat and often it’s crickets. Most I had answered was 5 during a 2 hr chat and I looked around like I was being watched…..

At 1:51. Liked “no obvious bullpen upgrade” for Orioles. Looks like tinkering around in house is their strategy.
Closer roll. Ugh. Local media seems to think SP Wells is being groomed to team up with Cano here. Hmm.

Disagree with some of Steve’s take on Bailey. The fact that he’s has fewer ABs than some others shouldn’t be a negative. He has 2.8 fWAR. Compare that to Carroll with 4.8 fWAR (assuming he’s the favorite). Bailey has played about 60% of the games that Carroll has, and that 2.8 is 58% of 4.8, so the difference isn’t great.
It’s much tougher to play catcher than the OF. C0mpare Bailey to Carroll in DRS, 13 to -1. But I guess it’s no surprise that defense is given short shrift, even by the more knowledgeable. Not saying Bailey should be ROY, but he also shouldn’t be so casually dismissed either.
