I realize the question was phrased “.. like Gavin Stone,” but I still thought it was odd, since they DID call him up for one game, and he didn’t pitch well.
MadBums last 15 starts were really bad. Im talking Tim Lincecum with the Angels bad. Additionally, the Arizona Republic intimated that MadBum wasn’t good with the young guys in the clubhouse and was at odds with respected pitching coach Brent Strom.
