Rays have played the 3 worst teams in baseball. Teams they were heavily favored to beat. AND they have a good team. Their record is a bit of a surprise, but not an indication of how they will do against the Yankees, Astros, and Guardians.
Teams that do well beat the teams they are supposed to beat. Yet you say you are a bit surprised by their record? Now if they had gone 5-5 in that same stretch, that would have been surprising.
Rays are the best team in baseball right now.
