Second half of last year + start of this year would be more than enough for me to be out on Soto if he gets anywhere close to what is projected. Bad Soto is still a good player, but when you’re talking $500m, you can’t really afford to have only good production in any of those early years. He’s already a DH and he’s not going to become more athletic as he ages.
For me the best world series game 7 closer ever is Madison Bumgarner
The Rangers look good this year. Can’t count them out, especially with their manager. Bochy is much better than most, like for example, Gabe Kapler. Dbags looking surprisingly decent. I’m not a fan of theirs, but gotta give proper credit and respect.
The dodgers and madres though, well… LOL!!
I love that absolutely every single commentator is still sleeping on the Pirates.
Anyone who’s actually watched the team this year sees great at-bats from patient hitters, fantastic game calling from top notch defensive catchers and pitchers with high heat who’ve developed good (if not great) secondary stuff. An added bonus is that it’s an athletic young roster with at least average D and base running across the board.
Top half ranking in MLB in runs scored and run differential with nine quality starts in a row and a very decent bullpen.
