Buzz Killington
They could finish 2nd if they decide not to sell at the deadline and jumpstart the inevitable rebuild.

They could also easily finish 1st if the Cardinals pitching sucks as much as it does on paper.

I think the absence of Molina will be a much bigger issue for the cardinals

Buzz Killington;
They’re already doing a ‘Rebuild On The Fly’ as Cleveland did a few years ago. More high-salaried players will be moved within the next year.

100M plus Steve? I think you are very low.I see Adames – assuming similar production and good health – easily beating 200M. He’s solid defensively (great arm so he could play 3rd if he has to move off short), hits for power, and he’s a terrific clubhouse presence. Unless economic dynamics shift over the next couple of years, he should get at least 10 years with a 25M AAV.

Do you guys have any interest in Semien for Yelich and Williams or 5-7 million a year on his contract? I know Semien’s a buy high guy and Yelich is a buy low right now, which explains the Yelich+ part. Any MIL fans’ thoughts?

There is a $12 million dollar difference in salary between Yelich and Semien that basically holds them to a straight up swap. There is no way the Brewers are including Williams in a deal with out prospect capital coming their way

It’s 26 million for Yelich the next 6 seasons vs 25 for Semien. I’m not understanding the 12 million comment. It’s way off the truth.
Rsox
Yelich is owed $12 million dollars more than Semien over the next 6 years.
