Spring Training has begun, and it’s time to check out the free MLB Trade Rumors Newsletter! The newsletter is written by Cliff Corcoran, who has an extensive resume contributing to Sports Illustrated, The Athletic, Baseball Prospectus, and other outlets. Cliff will take you through the hot stove highlights of the previous day, boiling down MLBTR’s posts into the essential stories. It’s a great morning read that will help you stay on top of the biggest MLB stories.
This free newsletter arrives via email Monday through Friday in the morning. Be sure to check your inbox and click the link in the confirmation email. If you’re not seeing the box to input your email, you can simply click this link to sign up.

It’s great. It has new stuff that isn’t always in all the articles.

Free = ads and more opportunities to beg people to pay for their Front Office subscription. No thanks.

We do mention Front Office in the newsletter. If we get a couple subscriptions per week, it can cover the cost of Cliff’s fine work on it.
It’s the same tradeoff every non-paying MLBTR reader is already making.
But yes – if that offends you, you should take a pass.

Offend? Don’t flatter your site.

@You Can Put It
I’ve enjoyed this site for more than a decade – the last year-plus as a subscriber. As far as I’m concerned, it’s great either way…I’ve just enjoyed it even more with the sub. If I were no longer willing or able to subscribe at some point, I’d still frequent and enjoy this site’s offerings – as I did before.
At any rate, I don’t understand where you’re coming from. Really, what’s up with the snotty attitude? Do you always get angry when a business that provides you with free content, creates an additional revenue-stream in order to bolster their bottom line? Or are you just offended that a business owner would have the audacity to promote that content on his own free website? If so, you really need to get a grip.

I wonder how people would feel about this site if one of the team owners owned this site and did the same. It’s not going to cost anything other than having to watch annoying ads, and it’s much less biased towards non east coast teams than ESPN and Will Leitch.

If you weren’t offended, why did you leave your comment?

Engaging with trolls? Even I don’t do that after having this account since December 2nd (when deGrom signed).
