The MLBTR team is working hard to bring you all the hot stove news in this unprecedented post-lockout free agent and trade frenzy. We’d appreciate your support in the form of a Trade Rumors Front Office subscription, which costs $2.99 per month or $29.89 per year.
This is not a request for charity! Our subscribers love the service, which includes ad-free browsing and weekly exclusives including my mailbag, a subscriber-only chat with Anthony Franco, and articles from Anthony, Steve Adams, and Brad Johnson. Check out all the benefits here and consider giving it a try!
I don’t do subscriptions and have been on the same “prepaid” cell plan for like 25 years. If you guys want $100 for 3 years or some other arrangement that doesn’t include an automatic “subscription”, then I’d be happy to join.
We have an auto-renew box you can un-check after subscribing, if you’re worried about that.
That was a nice close, Mr Dierkes.
Alright, since I’ve been on the site since practically inception, I’m in. Thanks for all your hard work!
I have to say, losing the ad banner at the bottom is a HUGE improvement! That was worth the money alone.
Totally worth it. Not to mention these guys go above and beyond providing quality content. Everyone should be signing up in support.
Just signed up love the site so why not.
I like being able to sow into what MLBTR does. It’s a Blessing to be a part of the community, not an expense.
If anything, they aren’t charging enough. This is the best baseball news site on the internets.
Nice bot account. The athletic is the best website that actually goes into journalism
The Athletic is irreplaceable – and so is MLBTR! I’m delighted to be a subscriber to both.
Agreed goob. They’re both awesome but completely different.
Not a bot. Just a fan.
Jordan09. Love how you followed the bot account…. with your own. Well done
@Jordanog, The Athletic tries to be all things to all people, covering all the sports, and baseball news can sort of get lost in the crowd.
Trade Rumors does us a valuable favor by separating baseball out for us.
And they don’t miss anything, either. Remember the old motto, “If it’s whispered we hear it.”
Been meaning to join for a while and finally did!
If I needed to know every time a Yankee-Met went to the bathroom or hear about one of their over hyped prospects I would sign up immediately.
It ain’t like you can’t pick-and-choose from the stuff that interests you and bypass the stuff that doesn’t. I mean, doesn’t just about everybody do that – on just about every breaking-story or journalism website that they use..? Sheesh.
It’s a great deal and such a small cost annually. Proud to support.
Comes to a whopping $2.49 a month, if you buy the annual sub.
I’ve come to appreciate being a subscriber way more than I’d imagined I would. 🙂
Braves may be in on Suzuki since they traded for Olson
I am a proud subscriber. I’ve enjoyed this site since it started.
The trial was good for me but I didn’t like the subscription as much but I feel others will enjoy it alot
Really no value added from getting the subscription (consumer’s end). It does help support Tim and the crew though.
I’ve quite enjoyed the direct email reads I’ve gotten so far.
Having never been a subscriber, what’s that based on?
As always, we await developments.
MLB and MLB trade rumors is a mouthpiece of MLB owner. will never pay for either.
Sounds like your tinfoil hat is a little too tight today, larry.
Nature – abhorring a vacuum – may factor into that.
larry48 with one of the worst takes ever.
