Which COFs could improve their WAR by shifting to CF in your opinions? IMO it’s Betts and Margot.
Thoughts from the MLBTR board?
Margot has played more games in CF than any other OF spot so we’ve a pretty good idea how good a CF’er he is.
Mookie has played over 200 games in CF. Unless his hip issues last year were an aberration moving to CF where he will have to cover more ground might lower his WAR
Suzuki. He will go from 0.0 WAR to whatever he ends up with ….. as long as it’s not a net negative.
I would like to see what someone like Story could do with a shift out there too. But COF? Probably Betts.
YC, are you saying 0.0 WAR because he’s never played in MLB before or because you think he’ll be a replacement-level player in a corner OF spot?
