I liked the Boras question: “Do I fleece the Nationals for Correa?”
It might not be the Nationals but Boras is definitely fleecing some team for Correa.

Boras has 45 active clients. 8 are free agents the remaining 37 are spread out over 11 teams. Several of the players (Randy Arozarena, Jonathan India, Alec Bohm, Rhys Hoskins, Frankie Montas, Sean Manaea) haven’t hit free agency yet so that team list would be even lower.
Most of the clients play for the Nationals, Red Sox, and Astros. If the Astros were willing to pay $300+ million they would have done so already. Bloom will not offer half that for a free agent. That sort of really only leaves the Nationals or maybe the Phillies (DD did sign the Red Sox contracts with Boras, except for JBJ)

Post lockout moves for Bosox; trade Bogaerts to Chisox for Kimbrell, he moves to 2nd.
Sign Correa.

Hellooooo …. McFly ….. anybody home? Think McFly, think.

It’d be a bold strategy to trade for closer Craig Kimbrel and move him to second base.

Good luck getting Bloom drunk enough to think that’s a good idea

I was wondering about Correa switching to Boras… Does anyone think he’s somewhat frustrated with his former agents not pushing harder for him to be part of the pre-lockout signings? It seems if the Rangers spent $325 million in Seager they may have made the same or even slightly better offer to Correa. His former agents may have told him to wait it out because they thought the lockout would end more quickly. I could totally see Correa being irritated if his agents told him to be patient and now he has no idea when the lockout will end when he could have had a $325 million deal. He probably also noticed that Boras got Semien and Seager signed so quick and thinks that was a better plan than waiting it out at this point. If this is true his former agents made a really stupid move by encouraging him to wait because they just cost themselves well over $15 million.

I’d really like to know if Texas was interested in Correa at all. We know the offer Detroit made to him. Would be fun to know if Texas made an offer, as well.

Does anyone know how to tweet someone where they actually see the tweet. I’ve been on there for a few years. Never really looked into how they’d see it

They would have to look for it depending on how much information is on their Twitter page. Twitter used to advertise itself as a way to communicate indirectly with famous people but they usually have so much stuff on there it’s impossible to force them to read something from you unless they want to and start looking through everything.
