Mets 26
Bluejays 27
Mets 28
Bluejays 29
Rangers 30
Mets 31
This isn’t based on just biased takes. Deep analysis and thought with hours of statical data put into this….
Redsoxx_62
This guy smh
Balk
So the Mets are the only WS team to win in the NL till 2031? Where do you come up with this stuff?
Deleted User
Clearly the Mets are the only NL team to play in the World Series for the next 10 years. So how could another NL team win?
tstats
He predicts Mets losses?!?! No those are when the inferior injury lucky team loses to the AL
Giants74
It is the static cling boy. Didn’t you always trip coming off the short bus. All those head injuries are beginning to show at your ripe old age of 15. To bad you won’t be able to enjoy the next time the Mets win a WS. Your nurse will be busy cleaning up your drool.
MLB Top 100 Commenter
Mets spelled backwards is Stem. Think you’ve been smokin’ the stem.
BobGibsonFan
Mets are a .500 team in 2022.
1984wasntamanual
No one cares about your MLB the Show franchise.
RazorRamonie
How dare you not put the Guardians on there at least once oh the nerve
Bruin1012
I have 100k that says your predictions are wrong. Care to put your money where mouth is Metsfan22?
Logjammer D"Baggagecling
So basically the Mets go to 10 straight world series. Win 4 of 10. 4 of tbe remaining 6 the AL team sweeps Mets.
RunDMC
I’ve offered multiple times to buy them a beer at Citi, but then they’d have to go to a Mets game.
Rangers29
This is the worst prediction I’ve ever seen.
Cause the Rangers are never winning a WS.
Logjammer D"Baggagecling
Blame Ron Washington. That’ll always be the curse. Cubs had the Billygoat. Red 3had the curse of the Bambino. Rangers now are curse with the Ron Washington curse. A lot of bad managing decisions in that series. Mostly in game 6
tstats
Who would expect freese to go deep the other way, have Cruz closer to home so he can cut down a runner. It kinda made sense
Logjammer D"Baggagecling
Freese was hitting a measly .450 same with Lance Berkman. The pitcher was scared s***less facing Freese in the 11th. Pitching to Freese and Berkman over Pujols was the mistake. Not necessarily Nelson Cruz
MetsFan22
Rangers will be good soon.
Rsox
Did the Dodgers/Red Sox/Astros/Yankees/about 15 other teams vanish into thin air?
MetsFan22
Yankees are not a WS team. Redsoxs only bc the AL is pretty weak
Phanatic 2022
He’s an imposter. The Mets will win every year.
DarkSide830
its morw likely none of those teams win in the next decade than even two or three of those predictions are correct.
Eric C
What could Semien earn in free agency?
Dustyslambchops23
I’m guessing he gets 5/110, and he ends up on the astros
tstats
It is an underrated point that Semien could be an Astro next year

Is it just me, or does Chris Taylor look like a young Bruce Dern?
FredMcGriff for the HOF
@bham. Every time I see Chris Taylor I think of Don Keith Opper from the Critters movies.

This fake Steve Nebraska gets more questions answered than I do.
Fever Pitch Guy
Steve I don’t understand how questions are selected either, perhaps it requires premium membership.
In the past I asked some thoughtful unique questions and didn’t get answered.
Tonight there’s TWO questions answered about World Series home field advantage, even though it’s information that’s easily available in all the places that have the postseason schedule.
Not too long ago someone asked a total nonsensical question about Soto being traded this winter to Seattle which of course there’s a zero chance of happening. It gets answered anyway, and then another followup “question” about the lame Soto trade to Seattle gets asked in which Mark got viciously insulted and attacked … and he answered that one too.
So needless to say, I’m done asking questions and probably won’t be reading the chats too often in the future.
Deleted User
So you’re saying the way to get your question answered is to insult the writer? I’ll keep that in mind…
Fever Pitch Guy
October 9th chat transcript … really over the top insults directed at Mark.
I mean it’s fine to disagree, but telling him he’s “not qualified” to do chats and telling him he should “just quit your job now” … this is why so many people in society are so rude and disrespectful these days, because they are allowed to be.
BobGibsonFan
I still submit questions… why, I have no idea. I guess I should ask about “Mustard or Ketchup?” Oooo, how about “Ketchup or Catsup?”
I asked a similar question about openers… but I added that it seems like starters are having trouble making it through the third inning… could you imagine Randy Johnson or Jack Morris having the manager come out to the mound in the 3rd inning to pull him? They would tell the manager to “go back and sit in the dugout, I got this.”

LOL
Thomas Walker
To be fair, aren’t you a “fake Steve Nebraska” too??
Deleted User
All Steve Nebraskas are a fake Steve Nebraska as Steve Nebraska is a fictional character, but I am the real Steve Nebraska on MLBTR
Thomas Walker
Yeah, I’ve seen the crappy movie. One of the worst baseball flicks ever.
Deleted User
It’s a terrible film. I love it.
Fever Pitch Guy
FWIW – I’m the real Fever Pitch Guy.
I went to spring training every year.
I went to Fenway as many as 72 times in one year.
I went to 25-30 road games every year, and Niagara Falls (deleted scene)
I bought a couple dozen different Sox shirts.
I’ve had several Sox-related appearances on TV including interviews.
My personal and professional life revolved around the Red Sox schedule.
Never did get Yankees toilet paper though.

I want to know about the Niagara thing lol

Any chance the Braves non-tender Richard Rodriguez this off-season? MLBTR projects him to make $3.1 million in arbitration. That’s not going to put a big dent in their payroll, but seeing as he had a big dip in spin rate after the crackdown on sticky stuff, struggling with control, home runs, and lack of strikeouts, I feel the money could be spent better elsewhere.
RunDMC
They said the same things about Melancon last offseason, too. Typically AA likes to give a longer leash to his acquisitions if they hadn’t proven him right just yet, especially if that means he may have to replace them with someone more expensive on the open market.
Samuel
The “the crackdown on sticky stuff” came around 2 months before Rodriguez was traded. He was fine with the Prates until he was traded.
Same thing happened with Craig Kimbrel after he was traded.
If the Braves non-tender Rodriguez there will be more than a dozen teams lining up to sign hm.
mlb1225
Yeah, and Rodriguez saw a huge dip in RPM. After June 22nd, his fastball RPM went from about 2600-2650 on average and then never touched 2400 after that. In the 2 months leading up to the trade, Rodriguez had a 4.50 ERA, so he really wasn’t ‘fine’ with the Pirates until the trade. From my point of view, Rodriguez was a massively reliant on the sticky stuff and when it was taken away, his effectiveness also went by the wayside. Kimbrel on the other hand did not struggle immediatley after the sticky stuff was being investiagated. Heck, his ERA went down from the time they started to crack down on it up until the trade as he didn’t allow a single ER.
Samuel
Seldom find myself disagreeing with anything in Mr. Polishuks’ chats.
Solid understanding of the sport. Seems to be grounded in reality regarding the business side.
The thing I like most – no politicking via simplistic arguments making bad guys out of owners, certain FO people, managers, coaches, and/or players (agents are never taken to task). The other MLBTR columnists that do chats would do well to follow his lead.
Logjammer D"Baggagecling
Was going over the chat transcript. I think Kyle Schwarber goes to Cleveland. He crushes the ball in Ohio. Doesn’t matter if it’s Cleveland or Cincinnati. That’s my guess Schwarber to the Indians.
Rsox
Schwarber will cost money. Dolan will look for his non-union Mexican equivalent: Senor Schwarbergo…

Cleveland isn’t paying anyone. Unless the new CBA creates a minimum payroll he will never be in a Guardians uniform. Expect their roster to continue to be churned thru trades. Too tight to even try to extend young players before arb years. Yes I know they cheaply bought out a few years of Ramirez. He wishes he didn’t sign that one…
Logjammer D"Baggagecling
Yeah didn’t know they were not spending money. Then if the NL gets a DH maybe he goes to Cincinnati. He’s been great at 1st though too.
I hope the new CBA gets rid of the 7 inning Doubleheaders and a runner 2nd in extra innings. I hate the dh too but it’s way better than those other two terrible rules.
EQUINEBOSS
0732 hrs question from Eric Gagne, Mark P. answered “Correct” to the question if whether Dodgers have World Series home field advantage because of the better record. That is wrong. A Division winner has the home field advantage over a Wild Card entrant, no matter the record, as per the MLB CBA
Fever Pitch Guy
equineboss – Mark is CORRECT.
You can verify with any of the thousands of internet sources that have the postseason schedule.

Don’t try to take home field away from my team. LOL
BobGibsonFan
What happened to the all star game deciding home field?
Logjammer D"Baggagecling
The last year for that was 2016. It was a terrible idea. Although it did help the Cubs. And I’ll take that all day.
Fever Pitch Guy
I liked the idea, made the game somewhat meaningful.
tstats
Without that rule there is a higher chance the Giants lose 2014
bhambrave
The division winner has HFA in the League Championship Series, but not the World Series.
