The latest minor transactions from around the league:
- The Blue Jays are transferring outfielder Jonathan Davis from the paternity list to the restricted list, reports Scott Mitchell of TSN (Twitter link). Players on the paternity list are allotted a maximum of 72 hours away from the team, but Davis will take an extra few days with his family. The 29-year-old isn’t expected to be out for long, but his transfer will temporarily free up a 40-man roster spot for Toronto.

I hear Rob Refsnyder is available and he is a pitcher now. [Sic] They BlueJays traded for him once before.

Why stop at Refsnyder? Let’s also unretire Erik Kratz and his budding knuckleball …
Alex Snow
Refsnyder isn’t a pitcher. He’s been raking in CF for the Twins.

Lmfao Go Jays…this deadline will show exactly what this front office is made of. I hope they’re able to pull a rabbit out the hat.

Agreed dman. The Jays need 2 starters, one elite, a shutdown closer[or Pearson, and a [healthly] setup guy. Big rabbit.
