With Walsh looking like a legit guy for the Angels, does that make Adell/Marsh more expendable?

No

If I was the manager, starting next year I’d do Walsh at 1B with Marsh and Adell in the corners. But that’s just me
californiaangels
I thought that too, but maybe Adell at first and walsh in a corner . adell is just rough defensively and that’s something you dont learn after playing baseball your whole life
Baseballer2021
I was thinking that they place Adell in CF (his natural position), place Trout in LF (had playing time therefrom 2012-2013), and have Marsh in RF next year, although Upton is signed until 2022.
Or, the Angels trade Marsh while/when his trade value is at its peak for a true ace (Marquez, potentially Glasnow?) at the deadline or in the offseason.

“After the Darvish trade, Chicago fans wouldn’t be pleased with another star being moved to San Diego for an average-ish return.”
Well would they prefer losing him for a comp pick after the 2nd round? Cuz that’s where this is headed.

I was thinking about that machado trade today. Orioles would have been better w a comp pick

Instead of Yusniel Diaz and Dean Kremer? Not sure I agree.

If the Marlins return Zach Pop as a Rule 5, the Machado deal looks even better.
Speaking of Rule 5, it sounds like O’s will be content to move Santander to create space for Diaz. What’s the return on Santander?
