Game 7 WS who you got. Strasburg for me, (biased Nats fan) he was lights out entire postseason. (Pitchers are on full rest and healthy) Idc about match ups because game 7 is about dominance not how many lefty’s are there in a lineup.

Cy Young. Heck, the award was named after him; he must’ve been doing something right.
FletcherFan60
If Cy Young is so good, why hasn’t he won any Cy Young Awards?
BrittinghamSports
Haha. Good point. He may have been too busy winning over 500 games. He is also the losingest pitcher of all time as well. He lost over 300 games. Can you imagine? We may never see another 300 game winner again. This guy was a 300 game loser. I don’t care what anyone says. 315 career losses is the most unbreakable record in baseball. No player will even be allowed to try and touch that record. We probably will never even see a 200 game loser again.
FletcherFan60
The man got a decision in all but 80 of his 906 career appearances. In 1906, he led the league with a 1.87 FIP but lost 21 games and had an ERA+ of 86. The early 1900s were a wild place man

I would prefer Smoltz over Glavine. Andy Pettite and John SMoltz used to be tied for the most playoff wins of all time. They may still be. Outside of 1995, Smoltz was usually better than Glavine in the playoffs.

Someone is very sensitive about deer meat……
Technically correct
I appreciate these chats, but seemed like Steve was over it. Bieber, taking phone calls, Deer Meat, regional fast food chains? STICK TO SPORTS!
j/k. Nice to know you’re human. But Culver’s is more like Habit Burger than In-N-Out. They all have their merits. Personally, give me the Peanut Butter Bacon Burger from Yo Mama’s across from Preservation Hall in New Orleans. Hands down the best and you cannot convince me otherwise.
…although, maybe with deer meat?
ludafish
I hate hearing about these places. I live in Miami. We have some cool local joints for burgers but none of the chains that matter. We have like one Sonic and it’s called “Sonic Beach” and is different. Everything else is McD, BK, Wendy’s, Taco Bell, KFC. I’d kill for a In n out, Culver’s or a Zaxby’s or something. Same thing with finding good pizza down here.
rct
@ludafish: I live in NY, but I’ve traveled all over the US for work. Massachusetts (most of New England, actually) seems like the worst place for fast food options.
Florida at least has Zaxby’s (though not in Miami), Church’s, Del Taco, Bojangles, Whataburger, etc, none of which are in New England that I can see. Maybe Idaho/Wyoming/Montana are worse, but considering how many people are tightly packed into New England, the fast food options are not great.
HalosHeavenJJ
Nice. There’s a peanut butter/jelly bacon burger at a local joint there. Really solid burger.
As far as chains go, In N Out is the dominant force here in OC. Some people thought they’d be smart and build a Habit and a Five Guys across the street from In N Out. You can walk into them and go right to the counter while the drive through line for I N Out goes around the block.
HalosHeavenJJ
Tough to top deer meat but Marty Cordova burning himself in a tanning bed is one that will never be topped in my book.

How is Glenallen hill falling into a glass table after a nightmare about spiders not up top?
HalosHeavenJJ
that’s pretty solid. and very freaky. I think we’ve all woken up from a nightmare and freaked out just not to that extent.
I don’t think many already tanned guys have fallen asleep in a tanning bed to the point they could no longer face the sun.
xtraflamy
Yikes! Why do people have glass tables? Seems like an accident waiting to happen.
In 2013, a 17 year old Giants prospect nearly lost his right hand falling through a glass table. Severed every tendon, nerve, and vessel all the way to the bone. Four surgeries and 5 years later, decided baseball wasn’t possible, and retired.

You could pay for the Front Office. I hear they answer more often because limited audience, but I am not sure if they are still promoting it.

I’ve often wondered why a deer isn’t called a venison since it’s meat is called venison meat.
Venison is too lean and dry for my taste and deer ribs have so little meat on them it’s a joke to serve them to somebody…..

You’re cooking it wrong then. You can’t be afraid of rare to medium rare with venison. If you insist upon burning it more than that the result is a pretty tough piece of deer meat.
