With the MLB non-tender deadline set for 7pm central time tonight, we’ll continue to see players agreeing to early “pre-tender” arbitration contracts. As the deadline nears, many others will not be tendered contracts by their teams, making them free agents.
This year I’ve decided to track all of this activity in this Google Sheet. Feel free to use it to follow along and create your own temporary filters on it. Long-term, I’m planning to revamp all of our trackers.
You can also check out our free agent list and tracker, where I’ll be adding non-tendered players as the news comes in.
You didn’t include Yolmer Sanchez with the Orioles. He’s arbitration eligible
Good call, thanks. Just added him.
I think just everybody can look up their favorite teams players on here and think of a couple guys who have been terrible and know there goners.
Carlos Rodon, please and thank you White Sox
Thank you…This is great!
Cool. Thanks.
Absolutely love this site! Keep up the great work guys.
Just a question about age: is the age listed the player’s age as of the official beginning of the season?
It’s his 2021 age per Baseball-Reference.
Not needed yet, but you should add columns for tendered players listing the team’s and player’s proposed salary numbers heading into arbitration.
Also, can you “freeze panes” on the top row of the spreadsheet?
On my end, the panes are frozen.
I will add arbitration exchange figures, and/or we’ll move over to our typical tracker which also has those.
Nice sheet!
Outstanding work, Mr. Dierkes. Truly above and beyond.
So much information in such a concise spreadsheet!
Noe Ramirez, Matt Andriese, Luke Bard, Kyle Keller, andHoby Milner all should be non-tendered by the Angels. Along with Justin Anderson only because he is injured.
I dig the Google sheet
Those that were not non tendered. They go to arbitration now?
Free agents.
Sorry, missed the “not“. They go to arbitration if they can’t agree to a contract.
