Have to love all the fans hoping for Springer after calling him a cheater and saying the sign stealing was the only reason they are/were good.
bhambrave
I don’t want Springer on the Braves, so I guess I’m not one of “all the fans”. Don’t want Buzz Altuve either.
LordD99
Don’t want him, but he was a rarity among the *stros, showing he could contribute at the same level without cheating.

While I agree it’s unlikely the Tigers go big in the FA market this season…they should. Teams are not going to go crazy as the Covid and next season are up in the air. You could save some million$ by spending this year.
Bauer always says…1 yr……1 yr…..
This is the year to ply him with serious money. 6 yrs. $150 million. Oh sure…yeah…he could take a QO from Cinci and roll the dice again. If anybody wins that bet it’s Bauer. He’s going to be good for another 10 yrs.
But what if he spits the bit next year on a 1 yr.? His chances of snagging $150 big ones are gone.

Wow no one asked if Trout is going elsewhere. That’s refreshing.
LarryJ4
Lol! Trout to the ATL for Ian Anderson, drew waters, and Adam Shewmake. There’s your trout movement for the day LOL
RunDMC
As long as LAA throws in Teheran. smh

Indians’ fan thinking they could get May and Lux for one year of Lindor! Ha!
hockeyjohn
No different than the Yankee fan who commented Gary Sanchez for Francisco Lindor. Who says no? All teams have fans that will only look at trades from their team’s viewpoint proposing one sided proposals. that make no sense.
For what it is worth, during the last offseason, the Dodgers wanted Lindor. The Indians asked for Lux. In order to give up Lux, the Dodgers wanted Clevinger added. May’s name also came up in the discussions. I am sure that is why those two names were remembered by the person that asked the question.
differentbears
I’m not even sure the Dodgers would have done Lux and May for *two years* of Lindor.
NLCS MVP/WS MVP Corey Seager is better anyway.

I can guarantee, they would not have done Lux+May for Lindor. I’d bet money they turned that down multiple times
