Pitchers win loss record. The most useless statistic in baseball.
Disagree, while ERA, WHIP and some others are probably more important, Wins show that the winner kept his team in the game and he was better than the other guy.
Agreed, I gotta know who got the win, it’s a large part of the story of the game. Who the heck would want to get rid of it?
Wainwright throwing 85 mph fastballs and still getting a win? That’s awesome, that’s baseball!
