Outfield Fly
Relatively new to the chats. Are the chats only for paid subscribers? Or, what are the ways to get my questions answered? Thanks in advance!
trendysayings
Free for anyone to use, but they’re pretty flooded with questions so don’t expect all your questions to get answered.
Outfield Fly
Thanks! It was hard to tell in the chat how busy the chat actually was.

They usually say they have thousands of questions. It’s generally a bit of luck getting questions answered – depends on the question, when it’s posted, when it’s seen, etc. I’ve had consecutive chats with no questions answered, and then chats with 4 or 5 answered. You just got to keep trying and enjoy the chat whether you get a question answered or not.

How long does the season have to go on for the Red Sox to reset their luxury tax penalties?
ukpadre
I can’t remember exactly, but I know this was answered in the previous chat, so if you can find that it should tell you.

They must reach the trade deadline, which is August 31st in this shortened season

Fletcher can play defense and didn’t cheat. Altuve steals bases and hits power.
I don’t think Fletcher will ever hit for power, ever steal bases and I hope he never cheats.
Except for their height and bat to ball skills, these two players are not alike.

Fletcher would be as good as Altuve if he knew what pitch was coming. Lost all respect for Altuve. We all now know the secret of his success, cheating. No apology either. No apology because he wasn’t sorry. He was sorry for 1 thing alone. Getting caught. smh
Halo11Fan
Altuve cheated and is a mediocre defender. Cheating helped, but I wouldn’t say any Astro is a product of cheating.
I love Fletcher. The guy is a ballplayer and a great defender, but he’ll never hit like Altuve. He’ll never run like Altuve,

My goodness, please MLBTR, do your home work !!!!
The decision wasn’t left to the players who decided to gut it out. Rojas is their Union representative and he contacted the Union’s executive panel. It may have been a puzzling decision but it wasn’t one of the Owners greedily rubbing their hands together and manipulating a “play on” mindset, as is often fictionalized by MLBTR.
Or don’t do your homework and designate your organization to second tier within the sports reporting industry.
Thank you….
