Mookie betts, David Price and 54 million to Cincinnati for Anthony descalifini Aristades Aquino Sal Romano and Alex blandino. Fair for both sides
hockeyjohn
Boston says no. They could get better.
Strike Four
Subtract the $54M and its about even. That’s a fine “taking the full Price contract” part of getting a Betts package.
PinstripedPride
ROFL you Sox people way overvalue Price, he’s no $31 million man. If the Dodgers or Padres take him too, theres going to be some salary relief

Chaim doesn’t even let you finish before hanging up.
fox471 Dave
Chaim doesn’t even answer the phone just in case it is you on the line.

I think Boston is gunning for Verdugo. He doesn’t have the Betts talent, but he’s still damn good, elite hit tool, excellent defender/cannon arm, would like a bit more power and speed, but he’s a young player that can be a foundation piece.
dynamite drop in monty
Everything you said is correct except he’d be a complimentary piece to the foundation of Devers/X.
JustCheckingIn
Yes because this is the NBA where 2 stars win you titles
jorge78
LOL
Strike Four
If Boston gets Verdugo and a pitcher, a 1B and a 2B, Boston could feasibly lose Betts and get better, because they’d be improving 3 positions instead of 1.
butch779988
This is Mookie Betts we’re talking about here. Gotta get more.
Stallion97
Huffing paint is bad for you, kids.
Joe Kerr
now ya tell me
vtadave
Hilarious. Sox would have to toss in Devers.

6:41 Nats-Braves-Mets-Phils-Marlins?????
Seriously? I get the Nats won the WS, but they didnt win the division, they just got hot at the right time and made it through, I mean, it took until game 7 to win it against the Astros, so its not like they blew anyone away. They lost Rendon and didnt do much to replace his production. Meanwhile, Braves got better at catcher, starting rotation is better to start the season (not as good as the Nats I will admit), and the bullpen to start the year is probably one of the top bullpens around. So please explain to me how you have the Nats first.
khopper10
…because they won the WS?
Jonathan B.
So I take it you just glossed over my entire comment, right?
