Starling Marte bats right-handed…
Maybe so but some people actually believe earth is flat
I’ll never understand why y’all always say there’s so many people in the chat that you can’t answer everything, even the good questions, yet then waste time fielding stuff like “DC or Marvel”
Or the ones the create just to have in there. Like the random gms making comments
I’ll never understand why people whine so much.
I’ll never understand people whining about people whining. That makes me so mad.
Not whining at all. In fact my question was answered today, and has been several times as of late. Just seems like a strange practice, to tell people there just wasn’t enough time to get to their question while simultaneously answering silly stuff, but whatever works. People seem to like the chat well enough to keep coming back lol
Hey, sometimes a change of pace question wakes up the chat moderator. I mean, how many questions can a guy look at and answer like
“will the Braves re-sign Donaldson” or “who will the White Sox sign?” I’ve been following chats for a while now and the questions all have a sameness to them.
I don’t know how the moderator doesn’t lose his mind!
Agreed. Until the Winter Meetings it’s going to be Groundhog Day.
Phantomofdb………….
Last year and I believe the year before as well the writers did polls during that chat as to whether they should answer lighthearted questions like “Taco Bell or Del Taco”, “Ketchup on hot dogs, yes or no”.
The resounding answer each time was yes.
And now you know the rest of the story.
Fair enough, I definitely missed that poll.
Kinda depends on the moderator to me. This chat was going pretty quick so it really didn’t harm much either way… but sometimes it’s slower AND they post more of those types
Indians can’t afford to trade Lindor.
Interesting… He was asked where he thought lindor would be on opening day. He said probably Cleveland… Then was asked who he thought was most likely to be traded between Lindor, Correa, seager, Betts and answer is Lindor. I would have thought Betts.
A bunch of the questions link together. If JD opts out then it will be more likely Betts stays and he thinks JD is going to opt out. He thinks Lindor will be an Indian but if things play out like he feels it will then a Lindor trade is more likely. The other 3 guys most likely are staying put. Honestly I wouldnt be surprised if none of them are traded.
I thought maybe it was some cute way of saying he’d be traded to the Indians’ opening day opponent, that was until I saw it was Detroit, lol.
Mark I have to disagree with you when you said Adames, Honeywell and Banda wouldn’t be enough for Marte. I actually think that’s an overpay.
I think it is a way overpay.. I’m not sure I would do Adames straight up for Marte. Marte is pretty good, but pretty inconsistent. Adames is also pretty good, a whole lot younger, and has five years left.
Good thing Strasburg said he wanted the padres to draft him but the nationals tanks so hard they got the first pick.
Nationals beat Padres at their own game…kudos to WSH, if true.
Have to disagree with Cabrera being the most immovable contract in baseball. See Davis, Chris
Cole is gonna get 7 or 8 years 300M
