In a rare treat for baseball fans, Monday will feature four separate divisional-round games–and four teams playing to save themselves from elimination. With the Astros up 2-0 on the Rays, the Yankees up 2-0 on the Twins, the Dodgers up 2-1 on the Nationals, and the Braves up 2-1 on the Cardinals, Monday could see a host of players heading home for the offseason.
With the ALDS and NLDS reaching what may be an apex of action tonight, it seems a good time to give readers a comprehensive list of which players featured in tonight’s games will be hitting the open market this winter. While postseason performance doesn’t always foreshadow the giant swings in financial fortune that some expect, a player’s impending free agency does, at least, add an intriguing bit of context to the spectacle of October. The following list includes players active for NLDS and ALDS action; for a comprehensive list of all 2019-20 MLB free agents, see our list here.

Y’all forgot Dellin Betances, although who knows when he’ll be ready to return with his slightly torn Achilles…

Yeah that Michael Pineda has been real active these playoffs.

@MurderersRow27
I don’t know if it was there initially but they do have an inactive list at the end.

That list was added into the post after it was posted. Thanks for pointing it out, I’m glad they added it.

Of the free agents on this list I would want the Brewers to go after at catcher either Romine or D’arnaud. Then bring in Iglesias to compete with Arcia at short. Pitchers that are available probably Odorizzi, Hudson and probably Romo. Maybe even Teheren and Miley.
Ejemp2006
Iglesias is the most underrated SS in the MLB. He makes all the routine plays and some spectacular plays. He runs the baes smart. Good situational hitter. Just solid. Iglesias wouldn’t come to compete with Arcia when he can get a lock on a starting position somewhere else. He’ll stay a Red or become a Mariner.

If you’re going to have Eric Sogard do his best Michael Keaton in Multiplicity impression you might want to list Brett Gardner as a centerfielder since he is, you know, starting at centerfield for the New York Yankees these playoffs.
whitemule70
Tough crowd.
Paul Heyman
I see a few guys on this list who will have their club options declined.
Thronson5
I feel like the Dodgers aren’t very active like us fans want them to be but they do take care of the guys they feel deserve it but that being said, I really think this might be a very active off season where they go after at least one major pitcher and possible even Rendon.
Bart
You also forgot Kole Calhoun.
batty
Seeing as the Angels aren’t/weren’t in the playoffs…
Gmen777
I can’t believe Odorizzi and Bumgarner are the same age…that just seems impossible
Ejemp2006
That’s because MadBum has been overrated for a really long time.
Badacidtrip69
yea those world series and post season numbers/accomplishments are edited by his agent – good catch. kinda feel bad for the people you interact with daily if you are able to confidently say something so asinine.
dangleswaggles
Would like to see Tampa resign Garcia and d’Arnaud. Especially with how bad Zunino has been.
Thomas Bliss
Avi is a good fit for them.
uncle mike
Brett Cecil 0nly has one mor year on his contract. Any takers????

Other than retaining Didi. Chapman, Betances and perhaps Romine it seems that Cashman should have tunnel vision on one target and that’s Cole.
We have three options at 1B in Voit, DJ and Ford. Two options at 2B in DJ and Torres. Two options at SS with DIdi and Torres. Three options at 3B in Urshella, Andujar and DJ. Two options in Judge and Stanton in RF. Hicks, Gardner and Tauchman in CF. Gardner, Stanton, Frazier and Tauchman in LF. You can run out Stanton, Voit, Frazier and Ford at DH. We have 6 starters already (assuming everyone’s healthy) in Severino, German, Paxton, Tanaka, Happs and Montgomery. And six main guys in the pen assuming they retain Chapman and Betances to go along with Britton, Ottavino, Green and Khanle with AAA depth in Loisaiga, Tarpley, Holder. etc.

I assume it will be exercised, but I think Adam Eaton has a club option
