What is the benefit to taking questions live instead of having users submit their questions ahead of time? Also a suggestion … in the live chat question form, have a field for what team/topic the question is for, so you dont have a disproportionate amount of questions about the same info and it’s easier to select questions (since you guys often admit it’s about luck and timing with getting a question grabbed live).

Can you imagine all the questions that would come in? They get a ton already! These guys have a job to do monitoring things as they happen. I’ve seen instances where they have to leave the chat for a few minutes to post something. It’s a decent idea, but MLBTR would have to hire an extra guy to monitor the breaking news…..

If the Mets are serious about contending it doesn’t matter if they could get a big trade haul for Thor. A championship is worth more than any prospect they could realistically get for him.

Look what TB got for Archer and tell me that again. Of course you have to have an executive to identify the talent to obtain, so maybe your statement should start say, “…worth more than any proapect [BvW] could…get for him.”

That’s cuz Archer sucks and the Pirates were the only stupid team to overpay for him. The Mets are supposedly trying to win now. Nothing they could get for Noah Syndergaard would help them in that endeavor more than, well… Noah Syndergaard.

Thanks for taking my question Mark.
You guys are the best.

I hear Greinke can’t pitch in Yankee stadium.

Enjoy the last game at Yankee stadium in 2019 on Friday… also, Boone has now started Gardner and Hicks in the 3rd spot in the lineup. Why? That makes no sense. Both should be in the 8th or 9th spot in the order. Gardner can barley get the ball in play and Hicks is clearly injured. Whatever order they are put in, it won’t matter for much longer anyway. How Chapman did not make an appearance tonight is also highly questionable. Take Boone off the manager of the year ballots. Even if this is the postseason. You can’t make mistakes like that against the Astros. You aren’t playing the Blue Jays or Orioles anymore.

Maybe check your game stats, before throwing the Jays name out there. i.e. Since the trade deadline the Jays were 5 for 10 against these Yankees and consistantly got to that highly touted BP!!!!!
