I’d apply but they’d take one look at me and say the Bernie Brewer interviews are down the hall. (no disrespect to the current Bernie Brewer!)

Jeff… I know you used to be a lawyer, so can you dig deeper? Daddy’s gotta know how much dough this pays. Why post it without salary? I’ll give you 10% if you serve as my agent. I’m looking for the low six-digits. I’ll look forward to catching up with you by phone on Saturday. Thanks pal!

all these jobs ask you to name your salery now. its a nice scam where modest and respectable people get the shaft while everyone is affaid they’ll name too high a number.

I always tell them what i want , not how much I’m making. If that scares them off, they aren’t worth working for.

I hope that was a bad attempt at a joke

Glassdoor is predicting $40k-$60k. Masters degree or above is desired (they really mean: will only be considered). So getting a M.S. at Marquette sets you back $35K (just tuition) plus undergrad debt wherever, then the first job you land is a jr analyst role at $60k.
Initial optics say $60k isn’t bad for starting but with wages not keeping pace with the cost of living and tuition skyrocketing you wonder why people in their 20s live with their parents still.
