Will Kyler Murray come back to MLB? A’s have his rights for 7 years, right?
Show Me Your Tatis
A’s own his rights until he reaches 6 years of professional service time. He is on the restricted list which means he isn’t gaining service time.

Just look at Russell Wilson. Spring training but nothing serious. He played with the Yankees in spring training after asking to be traded there.

Philly A's
A’s haters keep bringing up the Donaldson trade.. the A’s were never going to be competitive with keeping JD and his pending contract… oh, and two 94+ win season in a row… I think the A’s recovered from that trade.

I like Billy Beane but I can see how people are tired if hearing about him. He has not only never won a world series but he has never even taken a team to the world series. I agree he has limited payroll but plenty of other teams have limited payrolls as well. I think people get a little irritated at the fact that an entire major box office movie was made about it Billy Beane and glorified him like crazy. He was played by Brad Pitt for goddsake. That man charges over $20 million per movie. Other teams have low payrolls and accomplished more than him. The Twins did it in the 90’s and have always had a low payroll. The Braves did it for a decade and a half with Cox and Scheurholz. Both those teams actually won it all and one of them set the American sports record for most division championships in a row. The Braves just got their 2nd consecutive division championship even though they are in the lowest MLB payroll bracket while having their highest payroll in history. I guess the easy answer for the movie and media attention is that Billy Beane actually took the time to write a book. Braves management like Bobby Cox and John Scheurholz would say that when they were GM’s they didn’t have enough time to write a vanity book. They were too busy trying to build championships.

Snitker over counsell for repeat NL manager of the year. Everybody outside of ATL wrote off the Braves and had them 3rd or 4th (crazy imo) in the division after this offseason. From that to 2nd most wins in the NL; Snit said “hold my coors and watch me make this look easy.”
Man, I hope I get to see this guy go all they way after almost half a century in the organization.
