Waiting for the Dodgers to make a move is like staring at the phone and hoping it will ring.

i dunno, i dont think the Dodgers would immediately hang up the phone if Ramos and Diaz were offered for Verdugo+Smith. they’d want more/to give up less, but they’d probably stay on the line at least.
rondon
Why? Ramos has average value at best and Diaz is a disaster this year. Verdugo and Smith are worth way more (and can’t stand the Dodgers.)
rondon
“I” can’t stand the Dodgers
DarkSide830
it depends on their view on both Verdugo and Smith. both are expendable with LAD’s outfield situation and Kiebert Ruiz not far off. if they really think this is their year, (why not?) Ramos has the offensive firepower and Diaz the buy-low value to help at positions the team is weak at.
Blue_Painted_Dreams_LA
Absolutely zero chance. They value both highly and have never shown a prosperity to trade contributors in season. Not only that, Ramos defensively is an absolute minus, and clearly does not fit their mold of C. Their lineup is deep enough to fit a defensive minded C, which he’s shown to be more than. There’s a better chance of Joc being churned in the offseason than any of this thought. It’s actually the complete opposite, it make Ruiz and others expandable.
cornnut
Absolutely no chance the Dodgers would take that deal. Those are two corner stone pieces for the next few years.

Do you all ser any value in Trevor Rosenthal? He has been decent in a short sample with the Tigers.
pfunknut
What a weird trade deadline. No huge trades.
