Would love to See Madbum for Frazier, and Wil Smith for a good infield prospect. Giants middle infield depth may be worse than their outfield, where at least 2 out of their last 3 first draft picks have been outfielders.
As a Giant’s fan, I hope Frazier is not the return for Bumgarner. The guy can hit, but so far his defense has been underwhelming. The Giants like good defenders, and even if they move the bullpens to triples alley, it will still be a large OF to cover.
Frazier’s bat is showing promise. The kid is a good athlete and I’m hoping the defense will come around. I wouldn’t want to trade him for 2 months of this version of MadBum.
Funny to see the valuation of Clint Frazier. NYC, hope you enjoy Anibal Sanchez for Clint Frazier haha (even I think that’s too low of a valuation for Frazier).
Yeah, pretty soon after I wrote that I was wanting to walk that back. I think the Yankees can do better than Anibal Sanchez or Tanner Roark for Clint Frazier. I don’t think he could headline a deal for Trevor Bauer or Marcus Stroman.
