Glad to know people are still making excuses for none ped Marte he was the reason they could move on from the face of the franchise he is still the free swinger who hacks at almost every close slider sure he might run into a fastball now and then and steals are nice but he is hitting 2nd in front of our only 2 run producers he isn’t going to run. I still think he is Cleveland bond for one of their cost control starters I kinda wish they moved him to the dodgers for vergo and Urias

Glad to hear no one is panicking about Vlad Jr. But hopefully this has thrown a wrench into the hype machine generated by this site and others.

He’s had 40 at bats. Let’s see what he does the rest of the year then you can jump back on the hype train.

I agree with the Brewers site saying burnes should be a starter. It is short sighted to put him in the pen. At the same time, he can’t be in the majors as a starter. He should go down as a starter, get his command and another pitch, and come up in a couple months as a starter that they will need.
