Stop with all these ads pleeeeease
vtadave
How about just scrolling past?
Sheep8
It’s how Tim and the guys can make money off this great site!! So easy on them and like people said before, just scroll past, don’t click on the app link or find another site!
jorge78
Exactly!
kleppy12
I know, right?!? Yes, let’s B**** and moan about an ad that literally takes less than a second to scroll by so that this site either goes out of business or they start using the ads you can’t ignore and have to watch for 15-30 seconds. They asked a couple months ago if people would use this site still if they charged like $10 a month and like 70-80% of the people said no, so just shut up and deal with it if you don’t want to have to pay for this site. End rant.
JJB
If you let them know you’re offended and triggered by it, it’s possible they may remove it as they’re sensitive and accepting to all potential triggers from MLBTR posters.

Like the downvote.
RIP downvote, murdered by triggered people

DId the Pete Rose debacle teach us nothing?
BlueJayFan1515
Uhh.. that’s totally different circumstances, we can’t influence or have control over the outcome of the games, whereas Pete Rose has an influence on the games he was betting on.
Melchez
We cant influence or have control over the outcome of games? Obviously You haven’t seen my rally monkey.
@budselig6969
I bet you’re the life of the party.

What a hot baseball rumor!
kiddhoff
Based on the comments I see on this site on a daily basis, I know I could finish in the top 5 percent. The only one I’m truly worried about is Strike Four(tnite). She knows EVERYTHING.So I’m not gonna waste $5 if I know she’s entered.
lionsandtigers
I can guarantee you the smart baseball fans have better things to do with themselves than comment on here. Most people that comment are either just trolls or don’t know much about baseball

So that’s why I’m here!

You sure do know how to make friends in a large group.

Not going to have as much of a chance to win if they’re still putting out bot picks

Still not cool that MLB is involved with gambling in any form.
66TheNumberOfTheBest
It’s a terrible mistake for all of these leagues.
Does anyone remember the Tim Dougherty scandal in the NBA? The ref who was caught fixing games?
Well, if that happens again, guess what? The NBA is now in the gambling business. So, the people who lost betting on that game will sue the NBA. Have fun with that.
A smart league would say, “we don’t endorse gambling and don’t care if you lose your shirt, for any reason.” They aren’t even getting paid that much for it, in the grand scheme of things.
Dumb.

This is probably the only way to combat the declining popularity of the sport though.

I understand the need for ads and have no problem with most, but can’t you guys get ad revenue from less despicable sources? Daily fantasy is such a rip off and designed to make professional gamblers richer via the money of casual players.
marijuasher
DraftKings, along with Joe Davis and Orel Hershiser in the broadcast booth, is a great way to ruin a wonderful sport.

Little less than 200 people signed up with less than an hour to go. Would they still give $5,000 prize or number of entrants times $5?
