“Injury riddled Yankees” I see you guys are still protecting the Yankees. You really think the sad sack Tigers are on the same level as an injury-riddled Yanks team? Really? Come on…. they have the greatest catcher in the game… two of the best 1B’s…. a superstar 2B…. A runner up to the runner up to the rookie of the year last year…. All World Judge…. Superstar Garner and future rookie of the year wonder boy Frazier. You guys did a “Projection” on Sanchez and Voit… a full article on how great they were.
What???
When you mention the Yankees…
An injured yankee team is still better than anything the tigers can run out there.
Better than the replacements anyway. The injured Yankees would be pitching and throwing the ball across the diamond underhanded.
Bring back the downvote!
According to UZR, Castellanos is better than Pescotty and tied with Yelich and Adam Jones…. are they unplayable?
#SmallSampleSize2019
Small sample size? So how can he say castellanos is unplayable? Hes playing.
Because he is not a good fielder. He was terrible last year, and the season is a week old. Anyone can have a good week, especially when you’re talking about the fielding metrics that really aren’t super accurate even when looking at a 3 year span. So yeah, he’s really unplayable. He should be a DH.
Hes playing right field. Obviously hes playable.
The Braves need to look at a catcher like Francisco Mejia. Depending how it is with Tyler Flowers just as hurt it seems as Brian McCann. Brian looks to be down at least a month.
As a Braves fan, would you be willing to trade Wright, Anderson or Pache for Mejia? Those are all Braves prospects who sit around Mejia on the prospect lists. Acquiring Mejia won’t come cheap, the Braves will definitely have to give up a good prospect to get him.
If a small sample size supports your opinion, then use it. If it doesnt support your opinion then it’s a small same size. Or, if it doesnt support your opinion then say it does support your opinion and move on.
I got it.
