Re: David Peralta – ATL has been big on him for some time and definitely checked on him. He was available, I’d imagine they would have given ARZ a nice haul – provided they didn’t attach Greinke to him. No where near a Haniger-haul, but he’d be a great consolation with the added asset of being Ender’s BFF (team chemistry would be relatively fluid, presumably).
Don’t let this distract you from the the fact that in 1966, Al Bundy scored four touchdowns in a single game while playing for the Polk High School Panthers in the 1966 city championship game versus Andrew Johnson High School, including the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds against his old nemesis, Bubba “Spare Tire” Dixon.
And, unfortunately, now shows signs of CTE. Bundy is a moron.
Some say his knee was down.
“Nice haul”, I veto any possible trade with Atlanta for historical reasons. Touki, Ender, Swanson…
In that vein, how about Teheran for Peralta?
