“Can I tell you how much I love commenter controversies?”
haha brilliant
jdgoat
Oh how I miss WestCoastRyan, Just Another Fan, and BigPapiForever.
RedRooster
What about FriendofBoras, Casey’s Partner, ookashfa and that guy who always used to suggest those like 4-team 30-player trades on every article?
jbigz12
Has JTO been gone long enough for an honorable mention?

“West Coast Ryan
5:57 Still here, bitches!
Jeffrey Todd
5:57 LOL
5:58 Okay I do need to run. All the best to West Coast Ryan and our other readers and commenters. Enjoy the HOF results in peace and harmony.”
what did i miss?
Jeff Todd
West Coast Ryan was a commenter who riled people up and got banned, or so I’m told.
(For the record: When I say I don’t recall specifics, or even whether I was involved in that decision, I’m not blowing smoke.)

Can we ban Daved? You can ban me also…I’ll take that bullet
RedRooster
Interesting that Jeff wouldn’t give a straight answer on that one tho. He did when the question was posed about BigPapi4ever 2ish years ago.
Jeff Todd
I honestly don’t remember.

“man, I just honestly hope that you are able to find something more worthy of your time.”
Shouldn’t you be promoting this site?
Jeff Todd
I wasn’t referring to commenting on baseball. I’m all about that. See the very next sentence I wrote.
I was talking about repetitive trolling/accusing others of trolling and the like.

Harper/machado to Yankees/dodgers 2/100. They are FA at 28 and dodgers/yanks can reset before 95%
Phanatic 2022
What was wrong with my last question?
lesterdnightfly
For one thing, it wasn’t a question. For another, it was gibberish.
Other than that, it was cogent, insightful, and quite worthy of you.
#Fantasygeekland
Well for one thing they’re 26, for another thing they can get 10+ years so why wouldn’t they . Also why would any team want to give anyone other than trout $50M per season? Even if it’s short term. Look at every big FA in recent memory… (you could even count Stantons extension ) thrse guys are way younger than Cano and Pujols.
Jeff Todd
The one you put in this comment thread? Ya gotta join the chat while it’s happening, man!
Or am I missing something here?
Phanatic 2022
I was going to leave another but I guess you may call the police if I say machado won’t sniff 250M
#Fantasygeekland
You are definitely the minority there. He’s 26 and one of the best players in the game. no reason he needs to settle for a short term deal, he’s getting 10 years (maybe more) he’s also worth a high AAV.

Jeff….why are you surprised that the Twins haven’t done much? There are so many questions about 4 of 9 regulars….can Buxton at least hit .220 and stay healthy? Can Sano focus on the game instead of the buffet table….and stay healthy? Can Kepler prove to be a major league hitter? Can Castro, a catcher, return from knee surgery?
If even three of them can do it, then they will have plenty of room to add at the deadline, if not earlier.
jbigz12
It costs prospects to add at the deadline. It costs nothing but dollars now. Competing or not that bullpen needs help. There’s guys out there
antibelt
The Twins are what can happen when you do a full teardown and bet on the wrong prospects. Same with the Reds. Most of the ones that have planned out are now nearing free agency and getting expensive, while the rest like Bixton fizzled out.
