Still some good pitchers and position players out there. Aren’t there some better hitters than Kipnus out there, instead of him playing second for The Yanks? 230 batting average??
gotothevideotape
PS,
Yanks need 2 more starters
in case CC falls off the mound fielding a bunt, or he is just winded after 1 and 1/3 innings pitched.
Slevin
PS
Show some respect!!
gotothevideotape
You need to give respect in order to get it!
You were brought up terribly.

Ps lasagna is also available already on the farm and Montgomery will be back midseason.

Vm
I call him that too. Haha
billysbballz
We have plenty of starters in aaa as insurance. We need 1 more high end rotation arm (Bauer, Ray, Grienke???) forget Kluber and the asking price.
pinstripes17
Neither party wants anything to do with a Greinke matchup and injury prone 4 ERA Ray in the AL East would be a nightmare
Ejemp2006
The Yanjs have got to be the front runners for a Cleveland starter if they are willing to take on the Kipnis salary. I agree with your point though, they might HAVE to spend big for CC insurance. Dude has been pitching on borrowed time for about three years.

Ej,
lmao. insurance Yes
good one

Fwiw, Kipnis changed his swing focusing on a higher launch angle, he might be fixable.

Great Article CB

I love how majority of these blogs are just HUGE homers.
thinkblech
They write what gets hits, and sheep-like fans don’t look at things with any sort of objectivity. Fans who want to trade spare parts for Mike Trout find comfort in these odd corners of the internet.
baseballpun
I mean, I think most of them are team-specific fan blogs.

I have been waiting for this time for a whole month. My favorite part of the offseason! Its time to play “Make a Deal”

I don’t believe the cards are out on harper. I don’t necessarily think they’re a favorite, but they’ll be in on him. in the end, I think they’ll be the bridesmaid again like j hey, price etc.
c1234
Like Goldy too, right?
fmj
not sure what you’re trying to imply. goldy was a trade. the others were free agents the cards crooned and lost out on. you’re comparing apples and oranges

Harper isn’t going to want to live in STL for a decade plus.

myr, sleven
Actually I really want to thank you both for the big crush you have on me. I am totally flattered
You always see if I’m on here, what article I’m responding to. and a great job you do at that because you always find me. I do love closeness!
You wanna sit in the bleachers with me also myr and watch me eat that long hot dog?
I’m too expensive for you, darling, I like steak in a nice cool atmosphere.
In any event, thank you again for always seeking me
out and making me feel important, which I am.
MetsYankeesRedSox
Hot dog is more an euphemism than an actual meal. I bet somehow you’re related to Howlin Hilda.

I hope you’re a woman. I mean… I’m ok with all alphabet orgs not named nambla but this just feels a lil icky.

Obviously, you’re not ok with LGBTQ groups/folks, or you wouldn’t have commented. Let’s skip the homophobia, ok?

EVT why would Padres trade for Bauer who’s in walk year
KnicksFanCavsFan
Bauer has two years of control left. Not a free agent until after 2020 season.
Houston We Have A Solution
Man 2019 sure flew by fast.
Houston We Have A Solution
If the padres are gonna trade with the Indians they should ask about Bieber or Clevinger rather than Kluber or Bauer.
They should offer to take kipnis to get Clevinger
Michael Chaney
The Indians aren’t doing a sell off. They’re trying to save money while bringing back controllable talent; Clevinger isn’t even arbitration-eligible yet, so what makes you think they’d trade him?
RedRooster
Getting rid of Kipnis
Michael Chaney
Why attach him to a guy not even eligible for arbitration like Clevinger when you could attach him to a guy making 8 figures and get a similar return?
Beldar J. Conehead
Tiger Talk Today reports that Al Avila shot a 93 today, and then was treated to a pastrami sandwich and a beer in the clubhouse by none other than Tiger owner Chris Ilitch, whose intent it is to keep Al away from the winter meetings and giving him any opportunity to possibly sign someone that might actually improve the Tiger team.
Michael Chaney
Franmil Reyes, Josh Naylor, and Austin Allen is not a legitimate offer for one of the Indians’ starters.
Friarfaithful117
If Kipnis and his salary comes along with a pitcher it’s too not far off. Add one more solid prospect. A lot depends on how one views Reyes and Naylor
Michael Chaney
That’s part of my problem. I see two DH’s and a decent pitching prospect.
I think since the return will be greatly affected by trying to attach Kipnis, the Indians would be better off just keeping him.
