Steve, could you do a group chat with Jeff and Jason? Sometimes I have an important question for somebody else other than you (or Jeff or Jason), so it would be nice to have more choices. Thank you for your time and attention to this very important matter.
paddyo furnichuh
Very important heh
SaberSmuckers
Have you considered posting your question to the person that you feel would help the most? Last I checked all three do a great job making time for chats. Maybe they should work around your schedule?
Wainofan
I find it funny that “cards fans” would have buyers remorse on Shildt or that others would say this was a reactionary signing. He’s been in Cards system for 14 years and managed every level to championship besides majors. He’s been groomed for this opportunity. He’s been in cards system since before Matheny was manager. Once they saw players reaction to him and how he handled them it was decided to give him the rest of 2018 and 2019. Not like they signed him for 8 years or something. It had nothing to do with Cards hot streak. Just like cards collapse was more due to youth wearing out and tired arms not because Shildt.

Respect how you put that one person in check on his stance with your chats. Needs to happen sometimes.
jdgoat
Don’t know which comment was worse, that one, or the “nerds are ruining baseball”.
jayfaraday
They were both so cringeworthy, like come on people.
SaberSmuckers
Agreed, that was awesome. I think all three do a great job.

I know this never happens, but could you see any possible way the tigers and jays trade prospects? Tigers are deep in pitching and jays are deep on the infield. Mize for bichette?
RedRooster
It it happens it wouldn’t be those two
Melchez
I understand… out of hundreds of prospects, the chance that I picked two that got traded for one another is pretty slim… but why? Why don’t teams trade prospects? I don’t recall that happening before…

Jays trade Anthony Gose to the Tigers for Devon Travis in ‘14
Melchez
I had to look that one up… Gose was ranked 39th best prospect in 2012. Travis was never ranked in the top 100, but had a really good minor league season. I think that would qualify. Thanks.
