Question I’ve been trying to ask each of the three of you for the last three weeks: What are your thoughts on these private coaches pitchers use in the offseason to ramp up velo? Why aren’t teams focusing on this?
sweetie, I feel bad, did you click up above for question asked?
Sorry, your question has been voted first runner-up in each of the last three chats. Keep up the hard work and sleepless nights hoping Jason answers it, and maybe your question will make it someday!
Bryse Wilson went to one this last offseason, and it worked wonders for him!!
Yup
1. Pujols is not retiring early. He will collect every penny of that contract.
2. The Rockies can’t “shop” Lemahieu considering he’s a free agent after this season.
Why would the Braves trade Folty, their best starter? and why would they give Allard a starting spot next year? he has done nothing to show he’s ready for the majors. I know prospects are exciting, but Jason can be a little too gungho when it comes to them
Because they would be selling high on Folty for the best return. It’s unlikely they trade him, but they could. It would net a big return.
But again, I doubt they do.
Would not trade Folty no matter how many premium arms you think you have in the minors. For every top prospect who turns into a Kershaw or a Nola or a Scherzer, there are dozens who turn into, well, a Jason Marquis!
The thing that got me was the Folty trade mention was was accompanied by Allard being a possibility to be penciled in as a starter to start next year
