Do you think Cashman will give Happ a contract in the off season, or will he or the Yanks think he is too old?
They just brought back Sabathia last offseason….
Happ may want a multi year pact though. CC came back on a team friendly one year deal. Happ is probably looking for a 2 year at minimum.
Don’t you think as well as a lot of Yankees Fans that Boone should have some one warming up in the Bullpen while trouble arises, instead of waiting after the pitcher gives up runs and runs?
Wow, a new low record for Marty!!
Believe it or not, there were ONLY THREE Padres questions answered, and only FOUR mentions of the Padres!!
Even with this chat being shortened, because of a Padres game..lol, it is still a new low for Martinez..
Typically, the chats will be filled and stuffed with about 40-50% of Padres content..Martinez has clearly been getting his fix and fill elsewhere…Let’s please keep this trend rolling in the right direction!! lol
Don’t let simple arithmetic get in the way of your silly sour grapes while conversing with yourself.
BTW, Urena is known for having lackluster control, and it is quite possible he was trying to just pitch in and make Acuña Jr. uncomfortable, but still….C’MON GUY!!
So yeah, especially considering Acuña’s recent hot streak, the optics of this first pitch HBP are absolutely terrible..Although, it was not likely done on purpose, you still never know..
On the other hand, it is absolutely just a giant load of BS..Especially since Mattingly is an old-school coach, and he does NOT want to be outshined by a 20 year old rookie…So, from his perspective, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if he was trying to send Acuña Jr. a message…
I really, really hope Ronald isn’t injured from this hit; if so, it would be an absolute shame..He was leading the charge for Atlanta, and was their spark plug on their recent winning streak..And from a 20 year old rookie, you can’t ask for anything more than what Acuña Jr. has been able to do since he’s returned from the DL…Such a shame for Atlanta..such a load of garbage..
Just walk Acuna and not hit him
he’s a rookie and gotta find out how mentally tough he is. it’s not like dozens of other greats haven’t been drilled…..but they proved they couldn’t be intimidated
Do you molest your own children or just random ones?
