Drew Pomeranz would be an improvement to what the Brewers are running out there. Same with Seattle.

No matter the health of other Red Sox starters, there is no chance they’d trade Pomerantz to Seattle when they could be playing the M’s in th DS.

I don’t understand Pittsburg. They trade Cole. Then trade there best prospect for Archer. Are they rebuilding or going for it?

I agree it is counterintuitive but FWIW Chris Archer isn’t going to be a free agent any time soon.

Building for future not today. Low budget teams need to. Better to have controlled mlb starters than unproven prospects. Especially when those proven guys are controlled
